Why I Waited (almost) 3 Years to Buy a PS5

I’m aware that the stand included with the PS5 can be used horizontally! I tried it use it but the PS5 didn’t seem to lay flat and it wasn’t very sturdy. The 3-D printed stands are much better.

I'm right there with you! I'm primarily on PC, but I finally bit the bullet and bought the digital edition of the PS5 last week. Ghost of Tsushima was part of the PS plus premium subscription, and I just finished the main story. It's not a perfect game, but it's up there with one of the best single-player games I have ever played. Have fun gaming! 👍

I quite literally got mine for Spiderman 2. My ps4 died just before the ps5 launch and I've definitely missed having a console in my room again. It's crazy jumping into a new generation and I'm excited to catch up on lost time. 🎉

I recommend "Resolution mode in the settings. Games: Ghost of Tsushima PS5 Director's Cut. Spider-Man Remastered. Ratchet&Clank. Sleeping Dogs. Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Gran Turismo 7. Constantly tap the brake when turning. God of War3 and the the 2018 version in the game settings for 60fps. . . . Cool you some of these amazing games. Great video 👍

If you’re a fan of any fighting games, I would definitely recommend streetfighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 and if u like Final Fantasy, I would recommend FF 7 remake and the sequel to it. FF7 Rebirth is coming out next year in February i’m definitely getting that game.

I’m glad I waited. I got my PS5 2 months ago. I bought Returnal for £20 instead of £70😂, I bought Control ultimate edition for £18, I bought NBA 2K 23 Jordan edition for £11, Watch dogs Legion for £12 and Life is strange true colours for £10, all in great condition and I get to play Returnal with the save game suspension feature. I had the opportunity to get Ragnorok back in November brand new for around £30 but kept procrastinating until the price shot back up. The main reason I got the ps5 when I chose to get it was because I wanted to get it before the slim replaced the standard model completely. I’m not a fan of the slim in general, especially its removable disc drive that has to be registered with Sony’s servers. Initially I was going to just wait for the ps5 pro but if the slim has DRM the ps5 pro will definitely have it. If that is the case my ps5 may be the last console I purchase. DRM….not a fan.

Nice man! I’ve been having a ps5 since February of this year. I love it so much. I got it because. My ps4 broke, there were great games coming out and because the place I got it from only had a few left. Im so excited to play Spider man 2! Looking forward to playing it. Right now I have been grinding final fantasy 16 and it is amazing. I would recommend it. So much fun. I never really liked fantasy games with rpg elements in them but when I played final fantasy 16, of changed my mind. Im Also really looking forward to playing Atlas fallen and Assassins creed Mirage! Those are my most anticipated games of this year. Im really glad your enjoying your ps5. I know I sure was when I first got it. Edit: Super Sorry for the long comment but some games I would recommend Are Definitely Ghost of Tsushima, It is graphically beautiful it is outstanding. Another game I would recommend is Assassins Creed Valhalla. If you love open world games . Then you will love Valhalla. It is A Viking game set in Norway for some of the game then England. It is a little king though. Took me 90 hours to finish. But Graphically, it is Absolutely beautiful.

I left it out of the video but I didn’t love the stand that came with it. When you use it horizontally it’s kind of wobbly. It’s not secured to the console at all. Still using a PS4 (2013), will upgrade to the PS5 when the slim is released as waited this long so would be frustrating to buy it and it immediately be replaced with a newer model. Want it so i can play some of the more modern games which now (Finally) are only out on PS5 to take advantage of the extra power.

But I understand not wanting to spend that much money and something that’ll be outdated in a few months. I tried stand it came with horizontally when I first set it up but it wasn’t sturdy and didn’t seem to sit completely flat. I meant to mention that in the video but I missed it. It could totally be my fault for not installing it correctly but I wasn’t a fan of the stand it came with.

I’ve always gamed on the playstation, I own a ps2, ps3 and ps4 I didn’t want to get Ps5 straight away for two reasons 1) I had too many games on PS3 and ps4 that I had to get through first and 2) I wanted to wait for more titles to be released on the Ps5 but now it’s that time (ufc 5) I’m finally levelling up I’m gonna get me a disc version ps5 next month 😃 btw can the ps5 play ps2 and ps3 games?

The PS5 doesn’t play PS2 or PS3 games but it does play PS4 games and they run great on the PS5. I was hesitant for a while but it’s definitely worth upgrading. I have a 65 inch Samsung 4K TV. It’s a few years old at this point but it looks incredible with the PS5. I know 8K TVs are available but they’re really expensive. I think any new 4K TV would work great especially if it has a gaming mode built in (usually in the setting) gaming mode helps get the best visual the PS5 can produce.

It wasn't even available until this year 2023, and they added free games. Do avoid the slim models until they have free games, and the digital model is as useless as the xbox series x or series s carbon black.

Spiderman & Miles Morales campaign stories are phenomenal. However I would be happier if they just had the story and nothing else because the rest of it was boring AF. The crimes & bases are just repeated to the point of nauseum which only leaves the collectibles left. I'm glad they put them on the map but collecting them was also boring AF. That platinum made me want to eat my own head. I gave up on the Miles M platinum because the 100x combo is ridiculous when it clears after 2 seconds of not kicking enemies. They made this a trophy so I gave up after the story.

When I got my platinum I would put it down for a few days and come back to it when I felt like running around searching for crimes and stuff. I’m almost at the point with Miles Morales but I still have some of the story to get though so my plan it to complete a bunch of side stuff while I’m still playing the campaign so I’m not just grinding once the story is done. I still have a reason to boot up the game if I have some of the story to complete

@@danal0gue I love the story in both Miles and Spider-man. It's the afterplay content that really lets them down although I cannot speak for Miles on that because I gave up after the story due to 100x combo being ridiculous. If I wasn't getting platinum then there was no point in me doing boring grinding just for everything else except one trophy. If I wasn't getting the plat I don't want it on my list so I did the story and re-initialised my Playstation clearing all trophies. That can only be achieved if you unplug your console from the net before playing (or earning 1 trophy... because if it syncs it's there till the end of time). I wish they'd let us delete trophies if they are not full games. We have no control over them - cannot disable them or delete them.

Bro the fact you said that the PS4 was strong enough means that you really dont know the meaning of strength :D, because the most fps you can get there especially heavy graphics games is 30 fps (except for some low graphics games of course), PS5 is far better and can reach 60 fps in most games with high quality resolution (NOT ALL!, there are some you must choose to lower graphics quality to play high fps, BUT PC is far more better lol, I am a PC user, I have a 3090, I can run everything high qulity 60 fps plus GPU prices are down so PCs are much cheaper now.
