(A very shortened and condensed post about the 3000s test) Sabion and Rashun, you two were not experiencing a problem with the quantize. The problem was that Sabion didn't have the two tracks in-time with each other to start; and with the explanation that both of you were giving suggests that the quantize was operating as it should. Just by what we could see in the video, the tick marks on the deck where the quantize was being tested were not lined up with the tick marks on the master deck.

I just can't believe it takes Pioneer this long to fix the cdj-3000. With all the experience they have you'd think it would be fixed by now.

They’ve got an ever increasing bug list and rekordbox keeps breaking prodj link export. I’ve reported about 9 or 10 bugs with the 3000 firmware which are in their system. I think they have a hardware issue in their second production run, i’ve three sets of 3000’s - the first 4 i got on release and this bug doesn’t happen. The other two sets bought in second and third run manufacture seem to have it. The quantise works from playing just fine its from cue, seems to lag slightly but some of it seems grid related too.

I also experienced those delays with hotcues before the firmwareupdate. But mine seems to be fixed. Maybe it also depends when the whole machine was built and it is also some sort of hardware issue.

This is so strange, I have a 3000 made in Dec 2022 and now on firmware 204, and I still run Rekordbox 587 and do not have this issue. Both the hot cue and cue working correct. But there are other 3000 issues when using ProDJ Link connected to older players like a NXS2 and your usb plugged into that older player

36:09 Question for Rashun, Paid, James in addition to the quantise issue with the 3000 did you notice a delay between CUE/PGM in headphones/in-ears on the DJM-A9. Timing is different between PGM in headphones to Master out. Not so much of an issue if you are reliant completely on quantize but still very off putting.
