Lovely to see you again Peter and to hear the good news from your scans. Daily headaches are truly debilitating I can empathise with that. Mine have been caused by a neck issue apparently no neck pain but headaches that only having to lay down in bed eventually eases slightly. It does interfere with daily life because it stops you doing anything you want to do. Only mentioning it as a suggestion but I'm sure you've looked into it Peter. Hope you don't mind me doing so. Lovely scenery as usual and hope the issues resolve for you soon. Best wishes to you and the family.

It’s been just over a year from my surgery and I’m still having digestive and abdominal pain. I have to take meds before and after I eat but it never totally goes away. Our anatomy has been changed so unfortunately these things happen I’ve been told. Glad you’re still NED. Take care.

Glad to see your update and that the MRI and CT came back clear. Sorry to hear about the abdominal pain and headaches. I hope your doctors will get to the bottom of it and get you feeling better. After my gall bladder surgery I had abdominal pain for about a year. I also had digestion issues and had to take Cholestyramine for years. Eventually my body adjusted and I no longer have to take it. I've been recently diagnosed with neuropathy and I had to stop running. That was really hard to come to terms with. I remind myself to be grateful that I can still walk. I miss running though.

Great to see you doing somewhat good! Glad all checked out. Total trooper you are! I am studying in neurodiagnostics and have came across some research papers that show certain food, spices and even types of salad can bring on the worst of headaches. One patient would eat a local sandwich shop at least once a week and they would put alfalfa sprouts in it. Turned out that was the cause. Stopped eating them and never had a terrible migraine again. She did try it once a few years later, migraine came right back. Maybe keep a journal of what you are eating for a couple months and see if anything you are triggers a migraine. Typically you will see a pattern develops if you look at day with headache vs food ate that day or days before. You can try to element them and see if it helps. Good luck to you! Hope it gets resolved because they are really debilitating.

Lovely to see you, Peter, and I'm delighted that your scan results are clear. I'm sure you are seething with frustration at not getting back to your former fitness levels as rapidly as you hoped, but it will come. As a chronic suffere of migraines and headaches resulting from encephalitis and severe tick-bite fever, I know how debilitating and demoralizing they can be, but it's the small gains and brief respites which make life worth living. Make the most of them, but also give yourself time to heal and rest. Rooting for you.

Glad you are getting back to normal. Even if you're not on here, many of us are thinking about you and missing you. We care about you. Maybe do make videos on your gastro issues, because it helps us know that you are human too. And, even make videos about how you take "Big Hits" (like you have had) and then how you "Come Back". See, I'd love to make videos about my life, but it's not that happy and enjoyable like yours. I take care of an elderly parent, so my life is up & down. There's always something that comes up, which you don't expect when you are a care-giver. People don't understand "The Life" until you have someone who is not able to take care of themselves. Thankfully, I have a supportive wife, who keeps me going. Just know that you are not alone with "facing difficulties in life".
