I saw your original video for this, then it was gone. I'm so very sorry for the loss of both your parents, and for everything else you've been enduring in your life. My life these past 5 years have seen similar struggles (loss of my mother, my father's stroke that forced me to "temporarily" be his full-time caregiver, the end of my long-term relationship and employment and the loss of my home and security as a result, my breast cancer diagnosis, and finally, the loss of my father). It's been overwhelming and I've been in the darkest places of my life. It's been 5 months since his death, and although we're still dealing with probate and the sale of his home, I've reconnected with a missed romantic opportunity, and I have hope again for the first time in my life. I'm 51 and starting over from scratch (and as a cancer survivor), and I'm scared but thankful I'm getting another chance at a good life with someone I love. I hope the same for you. Deepest condolences for your loss. No one is any good when stressed and worn out. And you were mindful enough to know you needed to recharge. Guilt is a wrenching and useless feeling especially when you yourself are bearing so much pain and suffering. Wishing you peace of mind. You did nothing wrong. My hubby passed away 6 months ago of cancer. I was diagnosed with breast cancer while he was getting chemo. I understand the feelings of panic and turmoil. And now I am still trying to overcome feelings of survivors guilt. Being human is hard. Don’t blame yourself. Lots of love ❤
