Welcome to The Amish Potato’s Channel. My name is Cj Miller. I was raised Amish in Shipshewana, IN. I was Amish until I was 16 years old, when I started dressing “English”, drove a car and partied on the weekends. This is called Rumspringa.
I did this until I was in my late twenties. I then briefly joined the amish church, left again, and moved to Idaho where I discovered the truth of who Christ is, married my lovely wife and am now sharing my story on KZbin.

Glad to hear you believe the true cosmology of the bible! I asked an Amish man once about what he believed, bible or modern science. He was uncomfortable with the question but admitted they believed what modern science teaches about the earth. I found it strange that a group who separated themselves from a corrupt government and modernism would concede to what a corrupt govt and modern science teaches in opposition to Gods word.

What? A God who sends His innocent Son to suffer and die for the sins of others is “just”? Really. Would you send your child for “eternal torment “ for a very short life of “falling short”? Why limit a God who claims His mercies are new every morning? Give me one scripture that says a soul cannot be saved after death. Perhaps the true idea of God being “just” is He is the same forever and His punishments are restorative through His love. Check out Julie Ferwerda’s book, “Raising Hell”.

AMEN!! Who would send His only Son to die for us? His love is PERFECT. He gives us a way out of our sin. But if we choose to reject it, then WE choose hell. AMEN!!! (And yes, the Bible describes a FLAT earth, all true science supports a FLAT earth, all mathematics support a FLAT earth. Christians knew that the earth was flat until a sun-worshipping astronomer named Copernicus came up with another idea NOT based on science, math, or the Bible.) We worship a powerful LOVING God Who sent His Son to this FLAT earth to die for us! AMEN!

I hope you are kidding. The bible does not describe a flat earth. Very few mathematicians support a flat earth. How does that even make sense to anyone? Actually, very few Christians believe in a flat earth. I know a lot of Christians and non of them do. Please give some kind of scriptural evidence for a flat earth. 🤔

Not to be judgmental in any way, but there are people that do not deserve Heaven and due to their actions and behavior are more appropriately suited to Hell. I’m just glad I’m not the one that has to sort that out. I don’t think it is easy even for a loving God.

Hell was made for satan ( job title meaning adversary), hell was not made for us, God's children. Those who chose not to follow Christ and God salvation plan will continue their separation from God in hell, then judgment. Christians are also judged by our works, entrance, and inheritance are not the same. God is fair all around.
