My favourite card is Vulpix from Twilight Masquerade a few years back I rescued an abandoned fox cub, and fed it every 2 hours for 2 weeks before finding a rescue centre. I’m eternally grateful for local fox rescue centres across the country that take them in and socialise them with other foxes before releasing them as a ‘pack’ Just reminds me every time I see it, and it’s so wholesome ❤

My favorite modern artwork has to be the AR Squirtle in 151. I love Squirtle and I've never seen a card with such good lighting. A good friend of mine just got out of surgery following a car accident that wasn't his fault and I'm very grateful he's doing better. Thanks for being an uplifting guy!

My favourite modern card right now is the Pinsir illustration rare from Twilight Masquerade! I love the pastel colours. I am super grateful for my family. I live alone and have just had an ACL reconstruction. My family have taken me in and are looking after me while I recover. I'm quite new to the channel and have been really enjoying your videos! Similar to your story about pulling yourself out of depression back in COVID times, I had a very similar story. I was absolutely dreadfully depressed with no light at the end of the tunnel. Then one day, I decided to change my life to the better, got active, started socializing etc. I’m truly grateful that one day I made the choice to be better and live a fulfilling life again! My favorite modern Pokémon card other than the ones I’ve already commented before about is the Moonbreon. I’m a basic HAHA.

My favorite Pokémon forever is Venusaur! Since i was a kid I’ve always loved trees plants and nature the fact of how venusaur uses photosynthesis from the sun to gain its massive power for solar beam and sorts. Though it doesn’t get as much love as the other two starter i hold very high value to em, I pretty much see Venusaur as a legendary Pokémon at this point haha. There’s a lot of great artwork cards. It’s really cool that they started doing that with cards. It’s hard to choose but I really like the Mewtwo/Mew GX SM191 promo. That’s the card where Mew is giggling and Mewtwo has its face in its palm. It just reminds me of the movie way back when I was a kid. I also have to admit that the heart gold soul silver ho-oh and lugia split cards are super cool. I will eventually purchase those so I can add them to my random binder haha

My favorite modern card would be the cute little Ralts in the Scarlet Violet Build & Battle box! (I actually JUST started getting into TCG!!! Your video was the first I watched about TCG unboxings, as I ordered the Mimikyu ETB recently!). I’m grateful for therapy and getting support in life when things are hard. Hoothoot TG12 from the Astral Radiance set. I think Larvitar is one of my favorites, as it seems like a chunky ball of cuteness by still being an absolute massive unit. Being a foodlover (shown in newest Illustrations) it became much more loveable. In case someone got the mew and said "double it and give it to the next person".. well thank you for that!

I'm with you on paldean fates. I've been picking a lot of the SIR's up. Maybe a few too many Penny's too. I have over 80 now, but I just don't see how it's so 'cheap'. It has an umbreon front and center. Just as Morty's Conviction with gengar, or kieran with pikachu. Imo this card should fly up to 25-30 once people catch on. Favorite modern card has got to be Zeraora from CR. Slept on card as well! First time seeing your videos too, subbed up!

It's not flashy but I really like the Deerling and Sawsbuck IR from TEF next to eachother in my binder. The simple artwork with the colors bursting is so underrated (and they're dirt cheap!). I love how there's still so many people in this hobby at all ages and I can still buy a Dark Alakazam from Rocket from a guy in my town here who found his old binder.

The new Latias SAR will be my new favorite modern art. I just loved the movie Pokémon Heroes and thats where my love for Latias & Latios started. There are allot of things we take for granted, like having food on the table and just be healthy. When growing up we didn't always had food on the table and my mother's health was declining. Now I'm a healthy adult who is never hungry and even have money left to spent on Pokémon cards. I guess I can say I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones!
