You can't be called a steal,before the draft has even happened.A steal,in terms of the NFL draft,is when,you get a player,who should have been picked,long before he was.Since the draft has not happened yet,no one can be a steal.

I still think they need more inside to generate a push. It is not like they need that much on defense... edge, 3 technique, safety. Most of their needs are on offense where they haven't spent much.

One thing unmentioned is Newton is a fast runner. He was a running back in HS, and he was recruited as a running back. I've seen him run down ball carriers in chases, although there's not video of it here. Pretty good for someone nearly 300 pds. Another thing, Illinois defense for 2023 was horrible. Worst in the B10. Newton, sadly was about the only player keeping it from totally collapsing. When he got ejected from the Wisconsin game, which Illinois was winning, the whole defense broke down and Illinois lost. Because he was so good opposing teams were regularly putting 2 blockers on him, allowing the rest of the defense and linebackers more pass rush opportunities. So when he was out, it all broke down.

Illinois had the No.1 CB last year. Coach Bret has put JJ Watt in the Nfl DL wise so .. I expect Newton to be really good. 💯 Illinois is going places. 💯

I love your breakdowns and exploration too. Just a question, could you do a video on ‘get off’ on the snap n it’s importance of why you should be quicker to react on the snap. We already have a Newton on our team, Mazi that has all the strength, but he’s always a fraction slower off the snap. If Newton has the same problem, he needs to work on that, but again for Dallas we have a big man inside with age, strength, power, but in the NFL he’s not getting on the 1st team due to the slight slower off the ball (when we played ball, it was always get lower and off the snap before the other team, idk if that’s changed). If so, why waste a top picks for an interior player that needs to acclimate grow n get better when you can get them in lower rounds…not to poopoo on this young man’s hard work n hope he goes in top ten. Just stating what I see n was told the same about Mazi last year by the ‘alphabet’ shows said. Thank you (mahalo), n aloha

Also how much is your Pateron and I’m the king formats do you go more into fronts, alignments, coverages, checks and coaching points like long arm and short terms and or “fire zone” or “5t to the boundary (pin loop) Also, on the first clip.
