Forget about the operating system, it's not a big deal, BOSS is a Linux distro and if anyone has studied really well in their M-Tech in IT, they can make their own Linux Distro. The problem with India is, there are more than 10 billionaires but not one of them is interested in the IT (manufacturing) sector. Yes we have software minds but what about Hardware, all our banking system, defence system, everything have Chinese parts, either RAM, IC, SSD, HDD, Processors, even the silicon board. We don't even make the semiconductor board !!! And then we lectures ourselves that ohh damm China released a new computer virus, we got hacked, etc. It's time when Indian billionaires should start manufacturing smart phones, Laptops, Computer parts and components...

Till date we Indians have been service providers in IT. We have not focused on developing products. Be it something like Word, Excel or PPT. Even for that matter image processing softwares or CAD, we simply don't have Indian Alternative. We are just end users of products developed by some developers in US or Europe. Whereas Indians form the backbone of most of these US or European companies. Time we think about it

Absolutely india needs to develop ecosystem but it won't be the key bcz ecosystem is not stagnate it's dynamic even tech jaints are also struggling on this basis but there is a solution that even tech gaints are wanted aquire is cross os application compatibility and it can be archived by creating compatible kernel which is key for os if India tries to achieve creating multi os compatible kernel and mandatory utilization will give us edge to rule in short we will make kernel that allows any kind of application build for any os will be run like doker software will be one of the solution

Problem with our government is that they don’t do proper advertisement. Advertising BOSS would bring popularity to this OS and hence money. When there will be money, software engineer will make software for this, which in turn will make it more popular. India is a big market, easily government can get into this vicious cycle.

Except north korea, No country can switch windows. It is not easy as saying, as windows has over the years have gone through various bugs and documentation. Also the marketplace options are more for windows which could be hard for the new OS.
