Trina, all that you stated resonated with me. A lifetime of being overlooked in the workplace and in other environments as well. Being a disciplined, dedicated, dependable, hard worker never got me a promotion. I was always overlooked. At 59, I have decided to continue to do well a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day, however realize career will be ending in a few years. A friend once told me, don't please people, please God. He is the only one who truly appreciates your worth. That statement is so true. God sees us and knows everything about us. INfJs are very humble people and this trait is a gift. They will be beautifully rewarded one day.

Thank you so much for sharing. I too have stopped trying to please everyone else. Life is so much better when we get to that space

Unfortunately ma'am, you are an INFP who was mistyped as an INFJ. Before you shrug off this comment and label me a bully, I think it'd help you greatly to consume some INFP content, since you'd stop feeling misunderstood and who you can relate a lot to. You might not listen, but I hope you do.

No I'm an infj through and through. Infps like more spur of the moment, they aren't planners, I plan every thing and absolutely HATE being spontaneous When I studied to become a certified MBTI Practitioner I assessed as an INFJ every single time. I relate to very little INFP things
