Exactly! It is sad because you start finding yourself when you’re a teen when your identity is in development and you already start on the wrong foot: should I marry this… or that? We shouldn’t ask ourselves those types of questions. It is like the gender thing: am I a girl or a boy? Know your gender and move on with your life!

Your question is deep. The most efficient answer I can give you now is can you see yourself 3, 5, 10 years from now? Do you see yourself happy with that person on a day-to-day basis? On long term through projects? Is it better to be alone?I think you need to determine what is a priority for you, because many decisions in life are made of compromise, and maybe yours is a bit of chemistry (which between, chemistry is not THE foundation to build your relationship, it is known that the butterflies will fleet anyway, and the physiological part of it, as you age maybe even more, regardless of your partner, I think). The best decision is the one that protects your future, that's why I talk about 10 year vision. Finally the best decision is the one that protects the other person. If you feel like you'll be unhappy because of lack of chemistry, don't do it. She/he'll feel it too she'll be unhappy. And you'll feel even more mediocre, this will be a vicious loop of unhappiness for both of you and you will end up in a miserable couple with the risk of splitting, which one or the other will hurt your lives on deep levels. Take ownership in any case, you'll be rewarded. Please don't take that advice as the exhaustive answer. This is already a lot and I think you can go with it if you sit and reflect. In my opinion this is uncommon, race still keeps a very prevailing place: political views? Where I live immigrants don't care that much about politics. If we are not attached to the country we care less about how it works. I personally understand that I am powerless in this. This is a game that is owned by the State so I don't believe in politics. Religion I totally agree. Although people will always add something racial in it because we feel comfortable in our culture, especially as immigrants as we are minority church is the opportunity to see each other (Black churches, Filipino churches, Malagasy churches...) Social class: well, if you value that, yes!
