“Is Nvidia Doomed to Be the Next Cisco or Intel?” 🚀
In this riveting video, we delve into the high-stakes world of tech giants, drawing eerie parallels between Nvidia’s meteoric rise and the fateful trajectories of Cisco Systems Inc. and Intel Corp. during the dot-com bubble. 🌐
What’s at stake? Nvidia, the AI juggernaut, recently soared to an all-time high, briefly dethroning Microsoft and Apple as the world’s most valuable public company. But beware-the stock’s recent rollercoaster ride has investors on edge. Could history repeat itself? 📉 Nvidia’s margins and return on equity are a staggering 57%-145% better than Intel’s at its 2000 peak. 📈 Cisco, once the behemoth of the tech world, surged over 1,000 times in the decade after going public, only to crash spectacularly. Will Nvidia follow suit? 🤔

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Miller.

People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $1 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks.

It's more that he is saying it is TOO risky an investment for him. I came to the same conclusion with TSLA years ago, but it kept climbing for several years, then topped out and has been taking a dump for over 2 years now. With NVDA, there are real earnings, growth, an expanding new industry larger than any before it, and a prolific CEO / founder ... LOW RISK IMO, even if the price bubbles up short term.

Paul here has been talking about how he's shorted NVDA and how it was due for this massive correction for a year now. He's also compared it to Cisco before, a truly awful comparison. Nobody that owns NVDA is worried because most peeps that got in have such a low CB (me included, bought in 40s split adjusted) that we can stomach volatility since we are in the green so much. NOT investing in a great company just because it doesn't fit your rigid philosophy and missing out on returns is the real risk. There are videos of Paul warning against NVDA when it was in the 40s! He also shorted and was wrong. He wants to sell his value trap software. Also this guy doesn't show his returns. How can you trust that his value strategy works without transparency ?

Yeah, it's nothing like Cisco, it's growing exponentially. Analysts like Tom Lee, who's nailed this more than just about anyone has talked about how Blackwell has been one of the most ambitious projects in the History of Silicon Valley and they've absolutely nailed it. I don't know if they have 5 years, 10 years...I don't know how much it'll grow, but NO other "player," is even close to NVDA right now. I know that since I've bought, in 2020, it's been a VERY volatile stock..but it's been an incredibly profitable stock. Yeah, I expect it to level off...and if they don't beat expectations and hit ~30B this Quarter and probably ~34B in Q3 and keep their margins in the high 70s. At least this time he pointed out that Cisco wasn't making money. I'm holding...BUT, would people PLEASE stop talking about what a huge loss they just saw. This has happened several times. They were at 974 and dropped to 720 just before SMCI failed to release an earnings PREVIEW(not missing earnings, just didn't preview earnings). It shouldn't be gong up or down, it's going to trade sideways around 115-130 until their next earnings report. And when some small non-competitor like MU comes out and their earnings aren't as Rosy, it's going to bring NVDA down. And then when NVDA reports, it's going to shoot back up. They cannot fill the demand for their chips. They're a couple YEARS out and their foundational customers right now are not companies that are going bankrupt, they're companies that have plenty of cash. MS has a 200 price target on NVDA. That seems a bit ambitious to me, but I'm feeling pretty damn good about my shares at a ~5$ DCA, the first several thousand shares I have, much lower than that. Just about 2.50$.

I remember seeing how McDonald's unwinded on AI / IBM cause the drivethro orders were an epic flop. I remember seeing lately Wendy's orders having a 15% error. Ai is here to stay, but right now is still as ChatGPT stage not for mass production to spreadout throughout all the industry. You need a single mistake, for the AI boom market to fall and fail predictions. Maybe it recovers within the year, I think the problem it's overbullish.

The analyst’s show the revenue growing 333 percent over the next 5 years and you put 30 as the high for the next 10? I do not think you understand how much revenue will go up for Nvidia over the next 10 years and that is why your stock analyzer shows a low number. If the analyst’s show the revenue going up 333 percent over 5 years then that is 33 percent a year over 10 years and that should be the mid number. The high number should be 40 percent and the low should be 20 percent. 20-30-40 will give a much more accurate idea of what the stock will be worth in 10 years.

People have been saying NVDA will crash since a split adjusted price of 40. How has that worked out? They will not crash until a bad earnings report. For now, their forward P/E is reasonable. Intel can’t get out of their own way. By the time they announce a new chip in the making, Nvidia has already released a new one. Maybe that is why Intel is switching heavily to foundry. They aren’t innovating. Companies are only buying AMD chips when they can’t get Nvidia’s. For now, undefeated champion, not even close!! It’s like getting in the ring with prime Tyson - DANGEROUS!!!

Intel or Cisco did not have Jensen Huang. That’s the difference.
@EverythingMoney
@EverythingMoney 3 күн бұрын
Jensen Huang is awesome! We think Nvidia is an a better situation then cisco and intel. But to your argument. Cisco had John Chambers in 2000. He was called the King of the Net. Chambers help. Chambers helped grow Cisco's annual sales from $1.9 billion to $49.2 billion. The News follows the stock price. Chambers might not have been signing autographs like Jensen but in an age without social media he was touted like jensen.
@ArunSingh-hw8ko
@ArunSingh-hw8ko 3 күн бұрын
@@EverythingMoney Valid point and I do not disagree a bit about John chambers. The differentiating factor about Jensen is his deep technical knowledge. In a recent podcast he mentioned that you need to position your company closer to opportunity always. That’s what he has been doing with GPUs. If at all any company catches up with NVIDIA, they will be miles ahead. So this run will continue for foreseen future. Good stuff !
