I got an A1 mini last friday, man is it a game changer. I have used an Ender 3 for the past 3 years, but it has been slowly becoming more of a responsibility than a tool. This thing.... IS GREAT

Really like my “old” prusa mk3s and the way they support upgrade paths to the newest versions of the printer itself.

I've got an Mk3s too, but the upgrade paths are essentially non-existent if you ask me. Yes, you can technically upgrade it to the newest hardware, but the upgrade kit costs more than a fully loaded bambu lab printer that also has cameras and other features built in that Prusa machines don't have. There's just no point really... which is a shame.

I have been printing nearly 10 years. And I could be your Grandfather. I used your dremel mini mill parts plus an X Y table to build a DIY CNC Mini Mill. Now my CR 10S Pro V1 with lots of upgrades lastly Pi4 and Klipper. But now I need to print parts for people that want my stuff. A small unit would ok as many of parts are smaller. Bambu A1 MINI was on my Mind as I am tired of upgrading Printers I just want get these parts printed. Would that be a good choice, PETG Mostly. Dennis

Yes it would, but I recommend you go with an A1 for size flexibility

The upcoming printer is going to be a much more expensive printer. So, not much sense to wait, if budget is limited. Wait for the new flagship only if your budget is not very limited.
