They’ll still accept dollars and had no problem taking investments in dollars but now since it doesn’t benefit them they’re against it. You might want to research it. The US, through SWIFT, forces the world to used approved currency for cross border trading and use the dollar to buy oil. That has fallen and countries are eager to divest themselves of dollars and cut the costs of trade.
