Making $65,000 per year just to have to deal with all the bullshit within the department and not to mention most of the people you deal with on the streets hate you. No Thanks I will just drive my semi and make $120,000 per year and not have to have my time off taken away!!

I also think it has to do with the agencies using a certain testing service. I had trouble testing with National Testing Network, I have a learning disability and sent them the required paperwork and they lost it 3 times I eventually decided to test for non NTN agencies.

They could adjust some of the entrance requirements. Pennsylvania State Police did this recently, now recruiting possibilities have sky rocketed for them.
