Why is basketball the best sport?

On January 15th, 1892, James Naismith first published the rules to a game he called "Basket Ball". It was a sport he created when he nailed a peach basket to the wall of a gymnasium. Over the next century, basketball became on of the most popular sports on Earth. It has also become, to me, the best sport we have.

Basketball is such a unique creative piece of art. If you think about it, all the things that players do pretty much is the same as they always have. Just you know, variations? Change a little bit but it doesn't ever feel old because the beauty of the team sport and creativity of the players in the masterful way that they paint their pictures on each possession. 1. The players do amazing things that are amazing even if you've never watched a minute of the sport before, or even know the rules. 2. You can see the players' entire faces, unlike Football, Baseball, or Hockey. 3. Similarly, the court is relatively small, and there are only 5 players from each team on the floor at a given moment. This, coupled with the size of the ball (especially relative to the size of the court), makes the game relatively easy to follow.
