@@surfingguru5360 You miss the point, ALL of India is suffering, or will suffer, from extreme water stress, India is on the front line and is now in the top three countries globally for water stress, and seeing as the current government has its priorities elsewhere (foolishly!), then expect water shortages to get bad all across the country!! I came to Bengaluru first time in 15 April 2009 by train, before leaving it on 2019. And immediately appreciated cool air breeze, so many tree and birds, no traffic to reach from majestic to Jayanagar. It's break my heart to see city transformed into heat, water shortage, and no trees and constant vehicle pollution.

@@SenorSol When better jobs are in just a few cities of India then obviously these cities will get overburdened with people. It's for the State Govt to proactively plan & build satellite townships to cater to the growing demands . Just adding on & building on existing infra that too with minimum thought to urban planning is nothing but inviting chaos & crisis . Hiranandani does an excellent job of building well planned township that are not congested + are aesthetically appealing . Govt should involve this builder given their past record with transforming Powai, Mumbai

The situation what we face is quite alarming and concrete actions needs to be taken place by each and every individual. As we are plant enthusiasts, there is a possibility of using plants which needs less water and can survive in high temperature and direct sunlight inside or outside our living spaces. This will eventually bring reduce the temperatures also gives a chance for precipitation. This is our personal opinion. Always ready to learn, post your thoughts !

1.Overcrowding. 2.Trees cut down to make way for metro. 3.Too many multi-storied flats in a small radius. 4.Too many vehicles becoz of overcrowding. 5.Apart from Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park which fortunately seems to have been saved from politicians' and real estate goondas' grasping hands, there are too few parks and lots with trees which can oxygenize and rehydrate surrounding concrete environment. 6.To accomodate the needs of all these people, more supportive endeavours and businesses (schools, colleges, hotels, restaurants, shopping and commercial establishments, etc)...in one word...OVERCROWDING...
