I came to Bengaluru first time in 15 April 2009 by train, before leaving it on 2019. And immediately appreciated cool air breeze, so many tree and birds, no traffic to reach from majestic to Jayanagar. It's break my heart to see city transformed into heat, water shortage, and no trees and constant vehicle pollution.

It's for the State Govt to proactively plan & build satellite townships to cater to the growing demands . Just adding on & building on existing infra that too with minimum thought to urban planning is nothing but inviting chaos & crisis . Hiranandani does an excellent job of building well planned township that are not congested + are aesthetically appealing . Govt should involve this builder given their past record with transforming Powai, Mumbai

The situation what we face is quite alarming and concrete actions needs to be taken place by each and every individual. As we are plant enthusiasts, there is a possibility of using plants which needs less water and can survive in high temperature and direct sunlight inside or outside our living spaces. This will eventually bring reduce the temperatures also gives a chance for precipitation. This is our personal opinion. Always ready to learn, post your thoughts !

I am south Indian hence I can eat rice, sambhar but people from north, west face issues here because of less north indian options. Its too overcrowded as well, IT companies should focus on setting up offices in other parts of the country, if we are getting talented people from punjab, harayana, delhi , UP, maharasthra, MP then why not set up companies there instead of destroying banaglore city and setting up all the start up units. In fact its high time they start thinking about environmantal protection as well otherwise this city will be a ghost city in no time with no water, no food and no resources anymore.

1.Overcrowding. 2.Trees cut down to make way for metro. 3.Too many multi-storied flats in a small radius. 4.Too many vehicles becoz of overcrowding. 5.Apart from Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park which fortunately seems to have been saved from politicians' and real estate goondas' grasping hands, there are too few parks and lots with trees which can oxygenize and rehydrate surrounding concrete environment. 6.To accomodate the needs of all these people, more supportive endeavours and businesses (schools, colleges, hotels, restaurants, shopping and commercial establishments, etc)...in one word...OVERCROWDING...

Im also from belagavi district. 10 years back even 30+ deg was only diring april or may month. And during peak winter ie jan or dec it never went below 20 deg. But now 35+ deg is common during summer and and 15-10 deg during winter We can clearly see weather changing. And Bengaluru is 900ft above sea level and belagavi around 800ft above sea level.

Today In 1200 sqft 6 floors are built for renting. ideally meant for 6-7 individuals in a house built on 1200 square feet ( max 2 floors) now has more than 24 people housed in 6 floors. Nothing is done about it. Flouting all construction guidelines, who is gaining from this. How to meet water requirements for such a crowded city.
