lol Blender is lovely, beautiful, and simple "once" you learn the keyboard shortcuts.

I found Blender far more intuitive to use than most other software, it has fewer on screen UI buttons at a time. And the keybindings are quite logical, G to grab (move), S to scale, R to rotate. All other software use a varient of QWE or WER keys to manipulate meshes. Blender also has the awesome User interaction when it comes to typing in the number to the distance, scale, and/or rotation you want. There's also the feature I can't live without which is click and dragging multiple values to change them all at once. So many softwares force you to type in the same value for scale 3 times when I just want influence them all at once. Blender does a great job when it comes to user experience and making it fairly simple to learn, especially after its 2.8 ui update. So many other softwares are held back like cinema4d and Maya because the industry relies on them to stay the same.

Also we don't have to learn all the tools at all, we only have to learn what immediately concerns the artist and once we want to move to another area, then we start learning it

Blender has gotten easier the more I use it. I admit I found it difficult at first. I do love blender 3.3.21. The earliest version of Blender I used was 2.49b. I plan on practicing until I feel comfortable enough to make my own series.

I've been learning Blender for a week now, and I don't need to have the Tool menu open because everything I need I use through shortcuts - movement, rotation, extrude and other Blender functions. Blender is easy, not difficult; it just takes dedication

Blender is one of the easiest 3D program to learn compared to max, max and especially Houdini. It's not that Blender is hard to learn, it's that 3D has a lot more to learn about than 2D.

CG is not a pick up and go industry lets not deflect dogma just because we don't want to learn a piece of software. Blender is not hard, the industry is hard for people unwilling to learn the basics.

Max and Maya is way too hard... Don't talk about Houdini... Actually blender is the easiest

@@madheeh yep - while Blender does have some UI inconsistencies , Max Maya or Blender can do a lot and thus need time to master Unlike this overhyped app called SketchCrap everybody loves because it is so easy and all it can do natively is make boxes …

Exactly the point I made. This is just group think in this video not reality. You think maya has an initiative interface ready to pick up and go where's your comparison? This idea is just absurd.

Yes it is free so no commitment is needed. You would need to learn 20 functions and you are good to go.

Hey, the most popular way to start is by going through the donut tutorial by blenderguru, (series covering the basics while progressively making a... donut). You will learn a lot and have fun!

Start with binge watching blender tutorials for beginners.... Just do a search in You tube search bar here ABOVE on the top of the page.... Happy blending.

I've made a lot of progress by starting with the donut tutorial made by Blender Guru. It's easy to follow and will talk you through most of the tools you'll use on a regular basis.

+1 on the donut series. I found the CGFASTTRACK Minecraft and Sword in the Stone videos very helpful as well, as I only started a couple weeks ago myself

Not sure what the point is here. Most things worth accomplishing or mastering will take some time and effort to understand and perfect. This video seems more like it was made just to put "content" around an advertisement/sponsorship than anything else.
