Maharashtra’s Fertility Rate is 1.7 whereas UP and Bihar’s is 2.3 and 3.3 respectively which significantly hinders development in the country. For Growth and Development people need stability and if the population is without any jobs and or resources it simply keeps increasing government debt and out of control inflation. Inflation in general is great it means the economy is growing but only if it is under control. Deflation means the economy is about to experience collapse of some kind and deflation is always out of control. Blind Population Growth could result in chaos and problems which destabilizes the progress made. For example there are regions in the country with 0.9 fertility rate and such regions or even parts of world need more kids to keep their economy stable on the natural course of growth but UP and Bihar need to significantly step up and control their population as they have an unchecked fertility especially Bihar as I can see that UP has taken significant steps towards this issue.
