Crackdown on tutoring companies is a good move. Privatisation/Corporatization of education promotes inequity.
@PK-tt5kk
@PK-tt5kk 3 жыл бұрын
Why isnt the chinese government thinking about "Why these parents are reaching out for these online education companies ??" It is because of the Gov's GAOKO exam. It is a crazy exam like JEE+NEET+few more exams combined. Instead of reforming the exam and their education system, they are shutting down the online companies. This is not going to change the fact that parents will still seek out tutors. Now only the rich will be able to pay for private tutors.

It's a huge mistake for a country of India's size and economic situation to ignore the manufacturing sector and focus only on service sector. As explained her, most of the service sector products are only nice to have and the over-indulgence of these products is what's causing a huge brain-drain here. We need to be self sufficient in manufacturing, otherwise we'll always remain in this same condition. More people pushed into poverty and income-gap increasing and increasing....

It is a crazy exam like JEE+NEET+few more exams combined. Instead of reforming the exam their are shutting down the online companies. This is not going to change the fact that parents will seek out tutors. Now only the rich will be able to pay for private tutors.

@@PK-tt5kk sir in ancient India education, health and food was free to everyone. That is why ancient India was 25% of world gdp. Temples were also used as banks where kings donated money and this was used to be given to needy. That is why always remember in ancient India people who donated were considered greatest than rich people or kings or everyone in the society for example dhanveer karna in Mahabharata. (dhanveer means donor of donors) Sir our ancient people had the wisdom which cannot be explained in words but we lost it. We should study those texts again in right sense and manner and increase our wisdom. Simply west did not want to search India for Centuries and India had immense influence in east whichever place there would be Buddha or some other person. who was from India. Land of Indus valley was changed to india. Simply we did not make arthashashtra by chanakya and it was kept in highest security possible and even anyone tried to take it other than the people who can access there were awesome traps which will kill other people. And when invaders came here they copied this idea and went and implemented it properly. See if we had world' s first university and many education related things obviously most of them were copied by those people. (It was considered greatest achievement in rest of world to get educated in India. We do not know our glory and it is kept secret so that corrupt people can run government and our work will be hidden ORELSE it will make our people wise and then their time will end) And now we are copying our own idea and we think they came up with this. 😂 This is ultimate truth. Hope we understand the importance of this. sir we need more good quality of colleges not entrance exams to Crack and get into colleges . Or just good content made just one time and given to every student which they can learn from. Here students role is high as he has to learn while in schools and colleges teachers has to make him sit and make him concentrate. That is the difference that's it. That is why people like Elon musk did not study aerospace engineering in formal way but just learn it from good source. Like eklavya not arjuna from mahabharat. And also good teachers to give the quality. But what happens is in India to become teacher you should study B. Ed and other degrees for job. Delhi government has thought people who have passed iit and iim and other institutes who are already most awesome just need some months or 1 year training in teaching institute and given a degree and they can directly go and teach students. They are opening skill university (tied up with companies for developing syllabus and training methods) and teacher university and sports university etc. All these iit and iim is OK but we need many many of them so automatically students who are coming from schools will get into good colleges without too much exam nonsense. And also This is a clever system built by corporates to just have enough supply needed for their jobs etc. If most of the people in India got quality college education then there will be so many people to apply for jobs with so much skill but jobs won't be there. Think 356 million people (youth or working population) in India right now with quality education etc. What will happen to jobs. So we need to increase small scale businesses and msmes as they employ the most and if most of the businesses will compete then product will be spectacular. So it is good trick to make people believe that they are not good enough and competitive to break into colleges. And if we see west countries they do not cutoffs for most of the colleges and just people go and study and then do businesses or startups etc. And lead a nice life.

The point is we should not neglect much the manufacturing and agriculture industries in our country. The Government should revise their engineering courses and make it up to date so that children take interest in the core fields. People pay money for the value they get or what a company can extract them from. The amount of jobs available in mechanical sector is not enough. Tech has nothing to do with it. With automation the amount of manual jobs will reduce even further. Only r&d kind of jobs/tech jobs will exist. Market determines what job will exist. Tech worker can work from anywhere hence the global demand. Imagine if most of the tech sector vanished do engineer from other branch have any back up ? Then reduce the number of colleges so on. But those who want core jobs are also not able to know about the resources they need to enter the manufacturing industry. And with due respect sir, jobs have decreased but are there. The food you are eating now was grown by an farmer in his/her agricultural field and he/she used fertilisers. The fertilisers are made using various components of chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering. Sir, the problem is that for those jobs that the students are applying they have very less skills to work on it. So, we need an updated curriculum so that students once again start taking interest in this field. @@zsar_official see people discriminate against weak and once they become strong then things become equal or better. Chinese government is nothing more than representative of Chinese people and they want to develop their economy and be strong and dominate others because they suffered a lot after invasions so they have learnt the lessons. But these lessons are still not the best lessons. They are even trying to dominate India which was its closest friends for thousands of years because that India and China and today's India and China is way different. Before India had 25 or 30% gdp of world while China had 24% something. So we were very close in gdp and thoughts and way of life like Buddhism etc. And many things before it. East was spiritual and wanted to spread their work and thoughts indirectly by having the best thoughts and wisdom and people using it. People were tolerant and non violent and practiced meditation and did practices to reach ultimate truth and source of creation etc and warriors were ultimate in their job as they were best and lived like.. Only thing is we had internal conflicts after sometime and this was the main reason. Nothing else and west were brutal civilization destroyers who went to other civilizations and destroyed them and considered the very act as great. Complete looting and doing animalistic ( when I say this that means compulsive) things with other people like trading people etc. Even now Chinese people consider west as barbarians who know to use some tools (which became more advanced and deadly) while here it was humans who were made awesome in every aspect. This was the fundamental difference. And if this thought of east would have spread to west then today the world would be different and because west came here destroyed our thoughts and civilization then their way of living spread elsewhere. Now after they got the loot and got comfortable life so automatically other things which used to happen reduced but still is very much there.

to most of the people here, banning and censorship is never good for any given country, it all looks good on paper but reality is often different. Here the crackdown was rather to show the political influence CCP has. Service sector is important, this video was bit biased although he himself is from that sector. Edit:- also he forgot to mention china has 996 work culture, meaning you work from 9am to 9pm for 6days, (just check the video on vice) people are already frustrated from it and if they ban social media from their life god knows what will happen.

This isn't actually what Mao thought, or what Deng thought, or what Xi thinks. This is just the execution of the ideas and analyses of CPC in a sequence. And what happened during Deng's time, was an application of a part of the 1st stage of Stalin's 2 stage theory. We can't talk like Xi did this or Stalin did this. Any Communist party must function under democratic centralism. Obviously some people are elected by the others as they probably have more vision. But still, we can't talk like that. Talking like "A particular person did this" is a very very wrong thing to do in this context.

It's not that India does not focus on RnD. Problem is that India CANNOT focus on RnD. IT sector flourished not because we focussed on it. State should want its people to prosper. Unfortunately, India is neither.

I really loved the education part! Now many people will argue but its dumb to say making students study like rats for 12x7 will make them smart and talented, admissions should be more holistic and govt should try their best to ease pressure from their students. Many countries which rely heavily on innovation, which requires deep understanding of the concept ( ex: OECD countries) also don't teach their students so much at such young ages. Hope so even Indian govt takes some measures at least to regulate these draconian classes
