VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
On September 8, 2022, India and China announced that their frontline troops had begun disengaging from the Gogra-Hot Springs area in Ladakh and here where the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army have been locked in a protracted standoff for over 28 months. and if you remember, in May 2020 this started out with a bloody incident where we lost 20 of our soldiers!! and as soon as this happened, it sent shock waves all across the world, and more importantly, with an already ongoing pandemic, this was a major security concern for India!! and after 2 long years, finally, the Chinese and Indian troops agreed upon the disengagement from the Line of Actual!!! and while most of us, might ignore it considering it to be yet another border dispute, I gotta tell you, the Galwan valley standoff has presented a critical weakness that threatens the security of India, and secondly, it has resulted in a massive change in the entire dynamics of the Indian business ecosystem!!! So in this case study, let's do a deep dive and try to understand,
What exactly is this border conflict all about??
Why is this region so so important for India??
What does this border dispute have to do with the economy of India and most importantly, as students of business what are the lessons that we need to learn from the ripple effect of this Indo-china conflict???

I like the way, you asked the question that would you stop buying from China, just because you LOVE India. Well, honestly every Indian must go through struggle just to keep our enemies at the bay. Not buying a TV, mobile for 6 months doesn't make huge difference. Apart from that EMI system reduces our burden. I bought an inexpensive Samsung phone. Even at the same cost, a good (apparently) Chinese mobiles were in the market. The only answer to this case is India must become a manufacturing superpower.

Thats how it all begins, first you begin the assembly, and then move in to different verticles, its like planting seeds. I am literally seeing comments below articles in Hindu etc where ppl are like 'so what if appl assembles here, modi has failed because they are not making every component here', these people are missing the point, of course modi wants every component to be made here and all efforts are being made in that direction, things need time, this is not fast food.

Video thumbnail is misleading. The whole point is: though we wanted to boycott the Chinese products..we could not..due to economic woes which are gravely aggravated because of the pandemic. However, as explained clearly in the video, the government's PLI scheme and due to the adoption of China plus one strategy..we will definitely be able to dent the Chinese economically in the coming future....

Actually it's not misleading, it is presenting the reality to those who don't understand that it's not the problem of fake nationalism but geopolitical factors which didn't support the idea of Aatmanirbhar bharat, thus the question mark.

I don't know if you understands how India China trades between them. Indo-china trade is very complicated and coupled system, because of thousand years long trading history and the geographic location(both are raw material kings of the world). Everyone definitely can understand that, if India was that useless in their global commerce China would have been very aggressively negative with India. China has more than 10 neighbour countries and big bro is at unrepairable dispute with everyone, India being the exception. So technically both countries will be interdependent forever only the deciding point is who is at upper hand in given situation

Well as a student of Geopolitics i have my some points 1st : We want to create a situation in near borders by which China attack 1st so when we encounter it no one will say that why India attacked 1st and we are free from having sanctions just example of RUSSIA UKRAINE WAR IN which russia is facing so much sanctions 2nd : I think Indian government is building its relation all around the world as you may know we are the 1st superpower country that have most freindly countries like : US , UK , RUSSIA , JAPAN , AUSTRALIA , CANADA , SOUTH KOREA , ISRAEL , SOUTH AFRICA , ITALY , FRANCE , GERMANY , and many more 3rd : If we want pok and cok back 1st we need to make our economy very strong today also we import many of things from china and as we know that sadly china is the economic superpower ... cause if we attack then our country situation is going to be same as now Russia is going .... 4th : We need more drones which can target and easily kill the enemies . and we know that in this drone attack we are not losing any of our JAWAAN 5th : The very main thing we people as citizen need to think that nation 1st like many people are protesting at small cases , and also many people criticize government so just stop this and understand what Modiji is doing
