I applaud you for your closing remark, re: CDC...I wonder if the CDC "experts" bothered consulting with Pediatricians, Pediatric PTs, or Early Childhood Development specialists--not to mention Neurocognitive Development experts--before promulgating their disastrous Infancy Milestones exclusion of crawling. This is very troubling in terms of our under-educated youth who are, or will soon become, parents without awareness or guidance on how to rear healthy, well-adjusted children. I'm a retired RN (School Nurse) who is very dismayed about the overall decline in integrity of the CDC.

Any tips for babies that aren’t able to crawl typically? My youngest baby has Achondroplasia and these babies usually only army crawl or bear walk because of the shorter limbs.

It definitely changes things when there's underlying medical/physical reasons! If possible, helping your baby get into the 4 point - hands and knees position for play, bear walking is still great because they're getting the bilateral coordination just like crawling!
