The point is most are not looking for anything serious, because they are too busy studying etc. There are only few women that look for something serious, but they are usually not of the academic type, which means they settle done in their early 20s, and probably know the guy from school. So the pool of women is low, but there will always be enough chads to go on "dates" with these women, even if they will never settle down with these women. In the endeffect, most women just have meaningless sex with a few guys and most guys remain frustrated. I've decided not to bother with dating, with what I've heard about online. Rushing into dates with women you barely know isn't going to work out. I already struggle to even form FRIENDSHIPS with attractive women. I only have a couple female friends, but they are quite a bit older than me and they are not "normal", so they don't think and behave like the women that Wheat talks about. I've realized that I'm not really that interested in sex, rather I want companionship with a woman I truly like to spend time with. I'd rather focus on building a platonic friendship, rather than a romantic relationship, although I would be open to the latter if the time ever did come. I've read Wheat Waffles' book, and it does make some good points. One of the problems I face is my appearance. Although I was born and raised in the UK, my mother is Indian. This means that I look Middle-Eastern/South Asian instead of European. People often don't believe me when I say that I come from England. With the rise of young, illegal immigrant males assaulting women, this forms an unconscious racial bias for young women to be more weary around young, brown skinned men who are introverted and awkward. It's a shame as the vast majority of brown skinned young men are just like anyone else.

No, it's not primarily a numbers game. It's knowing where to prospect. If you were looking for gold, you wouldn't, if you had any sense, start panning in any random stream or worse, start pushing thousands of cubic yards of dirt from random locations into a wash plant. You'd start by looking for places geologically likely to have gold deposits, then test with pans and drilling to narrow down where there is enough to make recovery worth the investment. Only then would you commit your limited resources to actually mining. You still have no perfect guarantees, but your odds of success are decimal places higher. It's no different with dating.
