Actually for our own benefit, we should compare and also trade and enhance relations with similar countries like indonesia, vietnam and indonesia, who can also be potential allies with us against Chinese dominance in South Asia and the South China Sea. If we compete with these countries mentioned above, we won't be too ambitious or too low-looking, we can determine our benchmarks from there. Is it possible? Idk. It achieved its largest and wealthiest pre modern form during the Mughal period. After the Mahabharat and before the Tomara dynasty, Delhi/ Indraprastha was relatively insignificant and cities like Hansi, Achhchitra, Pataliputra, Kannauj, Mathura etc were more significant in contemporary north west india

If you go even back in time to around Guptas they also considered Indraprastha to be their second capital.
