Hello Community, The purpose of this video is to show how Ethiopian Airlines defied all odds to become a giant powerhouse in Africa and the world. We did not refer to any particular tribe in Ethiopia as superior to others. Tribalism has no place on this channel. All comments stoking tribalistic sentiments will be removed immediately. Thanks for watching.

I live in The Netherlands and had visted ADD 3x in 2019, twice with Ethiopian Airlines and ones with Turkish Airlines. Though the Turkish Airlines ticket was much more attractive then ET airlines, i prefer to fly with ET airlines. I was also curious abt their biz class service, so i've upgraded one of my tickets to fly cloud nine. That was excellent and a very nice experience which i will never forget. Can only say the following to this company, keep up the good work and try to inspire other African nations to do the same because what i have seen is that Africa is hot & elevating at this moment.

another reason for success is beautiful female cabin crew on any flight; probably the most charming in the world as well. Food served is excellent even in economy. Ethiopian Airlines is really 'going to great lengths to please' ! that's their slogan from back in the dayz.

Truth to be told, I don't recommend anyone to go to Ethiopia, if they don't want to be disappointed. I have been there once, and second time, as I hope, will never ever happen in my life. Oh damn, this country always comes to me in my nightmares. The grinding poverty and the lack of normal life conditions are adding stress on everyone. Ethiopia is a very underdeveloped country, in which it's difficult to stay in. There is really nothing to do in terms of the normal civilized conditions.

I had an awesome experience flying with ethiopian airlines. They are definitely on par with Qatar, Saudi, Emirates and Etihad airlines. Well done! Staff are knowledgeable and baggage control is the best by far.

Flew Ethiopian airlines reluctantly from Sao Paulo to Addis Ababa and then onto Mumbai. The food was awesome and the free flowing red wine and black coffee is worth mentioning; and the food is wholesome, not like the usual airline preheated food. Will I give Ethiopian airlines another try??? I definitely will...

Ethiopian Airlines in talks with South Africa on the future of South African Airline. and I thing they reached on agreement in helping SAA in management, pilot, technician and aircraft.

If ET wants to become a major global hub, they really need to modernise and develop Addis Ababa Airport from the ground up. It's a really poor airport feeling outdated with very basic facilities. Addis Ababa is very well located between Asia and Europe and has very good possibilities ahead.

Why don't you you all mention that this is all Chinese money? Ethiopia by itself is a very underdeveloped country. The export is only 2,5 billion USD, and this is mostly because if the Ethiopian airlines. There are no parks in Addis Ababa, no sport facilities, no parking places, electricity is always down, the Internet is down, all supermarket food and commodities are exported, no good drugs in farmacies, no US dollars. Fruits, which are homegrown, are extremely extensive in that country (10 USD for 1 kg of apples or grapes). This is because Ethiopia lacks fertilizers and automized agriculture. No convenient stores, meaning if someone wants to buy food he must go to the super market, the number of which is few in the city. Even ice-cream is difficult to find. It's very difficult to stay there! I have been there once and second time I will never ever go to Ethiopia. Nothing personal guys but please give objective and true information!

Love it!! AS you motioned the foreign carriers trying to dominate over certain of the continents routes. The Ethiopian Government should be able take control of the countries of Africa, and create a 'Civil Aviation Union'.. Unity is powerful... There are Vultures out here.

Good research Could be better if you also mentioned about the AU and UN Conferences convened in Addis Ababa. It is non stop. Every day of the week. From not only African countries but from all over the world. Most fly business class. Boosted the profile of passengers. Location? I am not sure. Manpower, YES. Cargo... Definitly. They reconfigure the aircraft themselves. That is the key. Marketing Strategy? Definitly not.

The reason the Ethiopian Airlines are successful. because, the rest of Africans are steeping and they don't work hard as this result, Ethiopia airliness monopolized the rest of Africans.
