Hindu is a foreign name. Actually it is Sanatan Dharma. It's eternal and natural. Its scientific, from nature point of view. It teaches methods to remain immersed in nature without going against the Nature so that life sustains itself for posterity.

Hinduism is an artificial term from Sindhu/Hindu river. Dharma is everywhere. John the Baptist was a vegetarian resembling some Indian sannyasi and Jesus come to him (for initiation?) in the river. Also delicate people need wise kshatriyas for defence against fanaticism.

Let me say one thing... Many think in hinduism/. Sanatana Dharma ... After the death , death bodies would be burn but many hindu people also do burry. They were doing it from old times. I heard there are 3 ways after death 1 by fire 2 by soil 3 by river/ sea ( floating the death body in a decorated Shrine)

To extend your hypothesis, everyone is actually born without any religion. It is the family/society/culture that is responsible for assigning the default religion, if any. I guess you must be born into some kind of Christianity. I was born in a Hindu family and was exposed to nothing but Hinduism while growing up and so believed that I was a Hindu. We really do not need any religion. All we need is a high level of ethics and morality which unfortunately are severely lacking in most religions.
