So, instead of laying out what Project 2025 actually is, you leverage language designed to promote the project. One word that encompasses what that is, is called Propaganda. You only provided propaganda, rather than what each foundational point is. If you actually read out the 4 point outline, it is completely in line with the 14 points of fascism as oitlined by either Umberto Eco or Lawrence W. Britt. The fact that you are unwilling to provide that basic information in this podcast, goes to show the deceptive practices you mean to employ. Just explain it as it actually is, instead of one singular bullet point position from a larger overall plan. The reason this Project 2025 plan is being called a plan for a fascist overthrow of democracy, is because it actually is. I suggest people actually read the full plan, then compare it to Mein Kampf along with the 14 points of fascism and the creed of the National Socialist Party. I'm not understanding. 16:01 - They say they want "de-centralized power" and to reduce government, but ALSO want the ability to get rid of anyone that won't back the Heritage ideology and agenda despite them having more knowledge in their area of expertise at 8:18. It sounds more like a consolidation of power and an increase in power to push through whatever agenda the president wants without an understanding of the implications or education by those who've studied the issues, rather than a reduction of power. Am I understanding that properly? I'm in full agreement that there's a huge amount of waste in D.C. and it needs to be addressed, but in reading through the Project 2025 Mandate for leadership, it's not about less spending or waste, as much as it is about control to implement policies without checks and balances to promote the ideology regardless of what the general population or experts in that area say. For example, banning reproductive rights isn't smaller government, it's larger government. Controlling what is taught in schools isn't smaller government, it's larger government. You're just doing it with less red tape. What am I missing here? That's Pillar 1. Pillar 2, the database of "qualified candidates" is pre-approved and isn't open to everyone... only those who believe in the same ideology and are willing to do whatever the President says rather than what the Constitution (Despite the opening chapters of the plan) says get access. They say the Constitution (which is non-partisan) is the most important thing that the President should support, and yet then go into DETAIL about how the Government should only consist of partisan people in positions of power that will do exactly as the President says. Again, they are not looking for experience and people who understand the system, but are looking to replace them with those they can control and educate specifically in the Heritage ideology. This is super dangerous and indoctrination as it is one-sided rather than well-rounded. Pillar 3 - Sounds great on the surface and useful for anyone going into Politics. However, they say, "Our side faces real challenges when getting trained up ahead of time" at 13:46, no more so than any other political party. What they are saying is, instead of an apprenticeship, those new people should learn how to implement the policies of the President devoid of knowledge or expertise regardless of political affiliation. There's not much on the website that allows you to dive into this as you have to be accepted. Pillar 4 - isn't available anywhere from what I can see. They don't say what any of these "changes" are going to be specifically, and only refer back to the 2025 Mandate for Leadership. In looking at the Mandate for Leadership book, it talks about rolling back LGBTQ, womens' reproductive rights, and workers' unions protections, closing the Department of Homeland Security, removing congressional notification and loosening International Traffic in Arms Regulations of selling weapons to other countries, forbidding recruiters from using Social Media to recruit, reversing policies that allow transgender people to serve, reinstating servicemembers who didn't get COVID vaccines, eliminating "Marxist indoctrination and divisive critical race theory programs and abolish diversity, equity and inclusion offices and staff", getting rid of PBS and NPR, providing more aid to "faith based entities" rather than larger NGO's, etc. Wow. A lot of this is very scary and border on the line of extremism rather than acceptance. In summary, they want less government, but more control, specifically for "Christian" or "Faith based" ideology, despite our country having the freedom of religion or to not have a religion under the Constitution. This is anti-Constitutional, not Constitutional. There should not be any more allowances for the faith based than non-faith based. Gay people, black, brown, yellow, white, purple, and disabled people, poor people, rich people, men, women, conservative people, progressive people are all part of this country. This is a bad idea for ANY political party in how they want to garner power to push through their doctrine. It is way too much power for any 1 ideology, even if it is 100% the best in the moment (which it absolutely is not), because times change, parties change, and leaders change. No one should have this much power from any party. Everyone has a right to believe what they want and promote it, but understand that agreeing with this would only be good for a very small group of people for a very small period of time, rather than a majority of the United States Citizens over the next century. This would decimate democracy as we know it regardless of who had power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Trumps biggest roadblocks during his term was the pushback he got from civil servants doing their job to ensure that all rules and laws were followed. Heritage wants to get rid of those roadblocks opening up the presidency to a total rule with no one to stop unlawful behavior. To ensure that presidential policy no matter how ludicrous the demand no one will be there and say "No Mr president you cant shoot migrants at the boarder".
