I definitely agree with you! This camera is my favorite camera aside from my iPhone. Here’s my purchasing order for video cameras if I have extra cash laying around lol: 1) iPhone or mobile phone camera 2) GoPro or waterproof action camera (love GoPros unlimited upload space) 3) Insta 360 camera or any 360 camera 4) DJI mini 4 pro or any drone camera 5) DSLR 6) Any Gimbal camera I try to refresh start back at the top of the gear is 3-4 years old.

I had a Gopro 9, i bought an X3 and then sold my Gopro because i wasn't using it anymore. Then i sold my X3 to get the X4. For me the X4 is by far the best action camera !

I pull the 2.7K into Premiere and export at 4K and it looks killer! Watch this video in 4K on your computer and you'll see how good it is these days. And the editing is just a couple clicks with the DeepTrack. I'll make a video walking through how simple it can be!

I have many many cameras and even this 360. About the only thing I can't use it for is off-road dirtbiking. The only way to take a decent video is to mount it on top of your helmet and that doesn't work very well in the bush !

Bought one for a month long climbing expedition in the Himalayas in November. Never used it. My S22 Samsung did an amazing job, making the Insta 360 X4 unnecessary.

The only thing that annoys me with a camera like this, is the invisible selfie stick pole shadow. I just can’t deal with that, as we all know that it’s an invisible selfie stick.

Hi David, isn't it true that the Insta 360 Ace Pro 1 and 2 have the A.I. to make the selfie stick invisible? And if it is, then isn't this an example of(and as far as I know the only examples) of how you can get the shot you riding the skateboard without the selfie stick appearing?

Sooooort of! A few of the action cameras can now "delete the pole" in post, but the results are pretty hit or miss depending on the lighting and changing lighting situations. The X4 does it almost flawlessly every time!

The X4 now has removable lens covers🙌 They've saved my butt after some bad wipe outs and they just pop off and a new set on!

@@The_Essential_Light *When clean* they don't degrade image quality... but if they are dirty or wet, it is a bit noticeably, so it's a tradeoff. That being said, I had the X2 for 4 years and only had a small scratch on the lens from a bail on a BMX course - so YMMV.

Has anyone else noticed the X4 is a LOT more prone to accidentally trigger QuickCapture in your bag than the X2. I've found the X4 dead in my bag, with the battery dead and a 2 hour black video like a half dozen times in the few months I've had the camera such that I leave it in my bag with the battery slightly out or QuickCapture disabled to avoid it (I leave the X4 on the stick with only the rubber lens cover in my bag and not the full camera cover)

I remember this camera being in my running with the DJI Action 5 Pro. In the end I chose the DJI because of the internal storage and longer battery- but seeing the amount of framing objects and how truly creative you could be with it, I’m starting to rethink my decisions.
