Devil's Ruin is an Exotic I have never really given much love in Trials of Osiris and, based on this gameplay, it's hard to justify why that is the case. Recently, a bunch of people have been telling me to try it again, so I finally gave in and the experience was very interesting... Enjoy!

pro tips with someone who has 19,000+ kills with devils ruin: - you can cancel the charge by changing weapons, meaning you can double swap to continuously pre-charge it. - you can cancel the beam-shot mid fire by reloading - you can essentially gain pulse-rifle range by crouching when it fires its beam.

Fun little tip for devils ruin you only need 1 round in the mag to use the laser

at 11:57 , your partner calls out "he's weak" then gets the kill. your knee armor enters the screen mid jump, and it looks like you're giving him a 👍 to pair with that "ooooh yeah" and that's just goals

Devils Ruin is probably my favorite gun. It's good as a sidearm but you can really catch someone off guard with the charged shot, it absolutely melts and at surprising range. I recommend Mechaneers Tricksleeves with it because the reload is kind of slow and if you're in panic mode, that beam destroys everyone when you're at low health. Best way to use it is firing until you have one shot and then use the charge shot. I've gotten triple kills doing this.

I use holster mod on my legs with it, it reloads 2 bullets really quick and you only need 1 for the full laser

A distant pull is such a weird sniper for me. I love the low zoom - I feel like I get gifted snipes I had no business getting but then randomly it won't give me snipes that look like headshots. I really like it though - the low bodyshot damage means you really need to get the headshot otherwise its useless. Currently it can't headshot someone out of a well, but from what I understand that will change when the info posted in the recent twid are added in.

I find the only noticeable difference in flinch for resil is going from tier 3 to tier 5 everything before 3 and after 5 is barely noticeable

Stasis heavy glave is insanely slept on to. Insta freeze on warlock with necro arms.use duskfirld to throeOn a hard to kill target and spam the staff blast.

Run it with the mechaneers trick sleeves and you reload so fast it’s ridiculous. Once you get the charge time good you can per charge and slaughter.

Try the stasis wave frame from ghost of the deep with devils ruin and trick sleeves you can shoot the GL then strand hook for ez 2 hit

Massively underrated exotic, but I’m kinda glad about that. It’s a hidden gem, used by few, but extremely powerful when used correctly. I hope it gets an exotic catalyst soon, maybe reloading the weapon after getting a kill with the laser?

This combo is pretty nasty. I'm not sure how much of the comments you read but if you can: don't waste the laser on your duskfield crystals, the sidearm shots will break it very fast already and you can have shots for a fight
