Idk why Sen continue to pick Lotus. Their defense on the map is absolutely atrocious and leaves them in a spot where they have to win 10-11 on attack. That’s incredibly difficult to have repeated success with.

People need to stop making the excuse that the main reason Sen are in a slump rn is due to format and playing more games. it is a factor for sure, but it's ridiculous to say that is the primary reason. Sen just are making mistakes, getting counter-stratted, and other teams are improving and innovating more. Sure more time off can mean more chances to reinvent, but it is not the main reason why you have such a drastic drop in form.

I think it would be cool to see you take a more ‘positive’ spin in some of these videos. I understand the negative rhetoric for a video like the one with NRG where they were clearly playing poorly. But, this video in particular felt like you were speaking from the perspective of Sentinels making mistakes, when in reality it felt like Loud were just really well prepped and Saadhak called an incredible game. Good content but I think a tonal shift could make them more interesting to watch and prevent some repetition.

You dont know the calling on this and you cant really judge stuff like this based on one round. Tenz omen is great on attack and also was great on defense when looking at many games prior to this one. Obv this roud was bad but it could also have been a bad call from john (for example him asking for help on backside or maybe even asking him not to smoke due to having a wrong read.

I don't know if there is any point in blaming the format, what else was going to happen? Sooner or later people will figure out ways to counter. Maybe we don't lose in qualification but then we move to masters and other teams there will counter you hard. Been like that for everyone or every winners fnatic has the same problem, load had it after they won and now sen to. That's why I like say every team in valorant is just mid they figure something out they win others find counter, then they start to lose without having an actual counter to their counter. And we are left with no truly great teams just avg teams getting good then losing.

What I think could have happened is that at the end of the half sen realized that there set playes are to readable (loud proofed that in the first rounds) and they tried to play some unexpected stuff which sometimes wasnt 100% though through

While I fully believe the format doesn't give teams enough time to experiment, it is hardly the *best* reason to justify Sentinels not experimenting since other teams evidently are. They should def be more bold when it comes to trying more things.

Maybe this is just cope but I think if Sen don't make playoffs/qualify then that could be a blessing in disguise. They get like a month of scrim time, and get to find out what's wrong and change up their strategies and innovate instead of playing the same style that they've been doing for a while. Also they already have 8 points which is more than anyone in the league right now which is good for them.

Honestly, as a sentinels fan, I do think that it’s best the boys don’t make it to Shanghai. It’ll be good for them to both rest and also just start working on new ideas and strats. From the start, with that EG game, it was clear that they’re currently too readable and easy to anti-strat. These teams who have good coaches and IGLs know what sen want to do and play well to counter such strats. I think they’ll be much better in split 2 when they have new ideas and being refreshed. That’s the hope at least
