Satan will not be bound until Jesus Christ returns to the earth and begins His 1,000 year Millennial reign with His bride. Revelation 20:1-3 1) Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. 2) And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3) and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Nice video, I also think a reason for this, is that we must make a decision for or against God. Adam and Eve faced this, Noah, and to choose to build the ark, Abraham had to go up to Mount Moriah, etc. There seems to be something that requires our public assent to follow God.

I find it interesting this passage mentions the Gog and Magog war at the end of the 1000 years and so many people try to shoe horn it into the Tribulation or near tribulation time. If we are to have "wars and rumors of war" until Jesus returns, it will be hard to have a land recovered from war before the 1000 years. At this point, it might take 1000 years to recover from war. Could it be Satan is locked up for 1000 years for the purpose of fulfilling to the prophecy of Ezekiel 38?

It is interesting, isn't it?! What if it's not either but both? We see modern alliances between Russia, Turkey, and Iran that have not happened before. What if in our time, other countries are drug into conflicts because of their alliances with Iran, and they're turned around, drug there by the 'hooks in their jaws', not wanting to, but having to fight for Iran. And then, 1,000 years later, the peoples who've repopulated those areas forget history and do it again, only on a larger scale. That sounds far fetched until you remember that Hitler forgot Napoleon's defeat largely due to the Russian winter, and made the same mistake. Their defeats were far from 1,000 years apart. Either way, I don't see it as a crucial thing that must happen around the time of the pre-trib rapture. But I can see where it's at least possible that some passages have dual fulfillments. We'll be experts about it AFTER it happens! 😁

Spot on. If we a-millenialists are right, Satan's short season is upon us. The Millenial age is the church age. There is only one second coming. The main problems for me with premillenialism is that Christ and Paul said the kingdom will be eternal, not 1000 years + Jesus doesn't even hint at a millenium in his teachings +the pre mill theology is based on Revelation 20, an apocryphal writing and should not be taken as literal + in the pre-millenial view, sin and death continue after the return of Christ.

It’s about being loyal to God and Gods right to rule. He is sovereign and deserves our loyalty. He made us and told us how we should live. But because Adam and Eve chose not to obey but did what Satan said, so they were disobedient. They knew the consequences. Satan wants people to follow him not God. Disobedience and unHoliness and not in God realm! With no earth and no people in it who’s he going to miss lead? He deserves death or eternal punishment for his disobedience to God. He had one of the highest positions in heaven. But he thought he was better than God. The book of Revelation describes his destruction and why. I hope that helps? PS. You cannot earn your way to heaven. If you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and become baptized to declare that, then by his death and resurrection your sins have been paid for. And it’s by God Grace and His Sons Sacrifice that we are saved-if we choose to accept and believe.

Yes it’s includes his demons as well…In the Bible, Revelation 20 describes an angel casting Satan and his demons into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. The angel used a great chain and the key to the pit to bind Satan and throw him in. The purpose of this was to prevent Satan from deceiving nations any longer

That is an interesting explanation that I have heard before but according to Jesus, there is no giving in marriage in heaven. Since they are also believers, those that survived the tribulation, I would guess this would apply to them too. No marriage. Matthew 22:30 30] For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

That's not what scripture says. Revelation 20 mentions the 1000 year period of the millennium 6 times in the same chapter. No where is a figurative millennium mentioned. I am calvinistic with respect to salvation but can't understand how the reformed crowd can be so right on about salvation but not biblical with respect to eschatology.
