I feel like that too. I'm 18 and a new Christian, so it's been hard being myself anymore. Who I was is all I have to connect me to people nowadays, amd by openly identifying as a Christian, I risk losing all of my time being with people to the possibility that the people I see (literally only in work) will change around me amd I can't have that. I have no friends besides the people I see in work. It's stressful though.

Good for you!!! ❤️👏🏼 I was a Christian teenager when everyone did “know” Jesus and they did everything the unbelievers did without any hesitation. There wasn’t any room to talk to them about Jesus because they would tell you they know Him. Now think about the way people talk today, where Christian’s aren’t “supposed” to tell them what their doing is wrong according to the Bible. The enemy always has his tactics. Stay with the Holy Spirit and listen and let Him guide you. I wanted to add this to help people realize, we all have our own battles in our walk with the Lord. I don’t think there’s ever been an easy time to share about Jesus. 🙏🏼 But we all know it’s worth it!❤️❤️ You’re never alone with Jesus.❤️💪🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🥰

Last year, I decided to build an actual relationship with God for the first time. At the time, I had been unemployed for 3 years, because of chronic back pain that I had dealt with for 12 years. I saw a video where a woman was talking about how you need to participate if you want to receive a miracle. God isn’t going to do all the work, while you wait for a miracle to fall in your lap. You need to have faith and take action, and God will move while you’re moving. Last year, I started working again by faith, believing and praying that God would heal me of my pain. At one point, I saw a comment somewhere stating that this person prayed everyday for a month and received an answer to their prayer. So, I decided to try that. I prayed everyday for a month for healing, but nothing happened. However, instead of taking that as a sign to give up, I decided to keep praying for another month. Then, another month… I prayed everyday for months for the same thing, asking God to heal my back before the end of the year. There were only a few months left before the end of the year, and I noticed my pain was getting less and less noticeable. After awhile, it had gotten much better. It had also gotten to the point where the pain was going away so slowly, that I barely noticed that it was still getting better. It’s been about 5 months now since the pain has been gone. I am healed, and after doing nothing but praying consistently. I didn’t seek treatment, because I wanted God to have all the glory. Plus, I wanted to have my own amazing testimony to share with others. There are other things I’m praying for now, and I have no doubt that God will answer my prayers. I just pray that reading this will give someone else the hope they need to not give up on God, because He will never give up on you. God is good.

I've just come out of three of the darkest years of my life. This is a bit of a read, but here are a few simple things that took a lot for me to learn... 1. God never wastes your pain. He may allow pain to enter your life, but seek Him and praise Him regardless, and that pain will never be wasted. I still recall things from deep pain nearly a decade ago that He still uses to teach me new things today, and in turn, I can sometimes pass those lessons to others to help them in their current troubles. I have become well acquainted with pain, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He will always, always, always turn it into good for those who love Him. Remember Job. Also remember to forgive those who hurt you. Forgiveness isn't a moment, but a process-- you'll find yourself needing to forgive them over and over for years to come. But it's never worth holding on to what they did. 2. Even at your worst, God is madly in love with you. I've walked with Christ for nearly 10 years now, yet He allowed me to sink further than I ever had during that walk. Even when I was thrown between rage and misery, sometimes wishing He would just end my time here and take me home, I knew He was with me. And not in some benevolent way-- He showed me that He was sharing my misery. He felt my pain with me. His heart was broken with mine. He not only never left, He knelt to my level and shared in my mud and filth so He could comfort me, and eventually raise me out of it. 3. Being content isn't about forgetting the future hopes, but rather about focusing on the present. I've been praying for a wife for longer than I can recall. Being married and having a family of my own, that friendship and companionship of a wife that I can share my life with, has been my deepest desire my whole life. But it was when I stopped focusing on that future hope, and instead focused on where I was today, that I began to feel content. Remember what the Psalms say, "Your Word is a lamp unto my feet." He doesn't lead us on a fully-lit highway, but instead gives us just enough light from the headlights to see the next hundred feet. And that is enough. We cannot possibly know what the future holds, but not only does God know, He also controls it. And as I said before, He always brings it to good for those who love Him. I hope this helps, and I will be praying for you! He will come through!

I’m in a unique situation. I’m Canadian and my husband is American. We dated long distance throughout the pandemic. It was hard because he couldn’t come to Canada and I was going there- you could imagine how tedious it was with Covid tests and all. We finally got engaged and got married. He’s such a gift from God. However since then we’ve been waiting on our immigration papers. It’s been a year and a half of waiting- today on the phone I spoke to someone at the USCIS and she told me the backlog is so bad and there are 2 million applicants in the same position. This is not how I thought marriage would start out especially after long distance dating and engagement. I am so sick of waiting to be together and build a home. I feel like my life is on pause and everyone around me is getting married buying houses and having children and I’m just trying to get to the states and live with the man I married. I don’t think this is gods design for marriage. I’m so depressed and discouraged. It’s been such an uphill battle. I feel so impatient and don’t understand. I don’t know what to even pray anymore.
