We are a middle-class family. From a very young age, my father knew loans were not the life and he taught me the same since I was a kid. We lived in a bedroom house and I never complained about our living conditions because he sent me to a good school and I was a lazy ass so taking care of me was equivalent to the budget of a baby. And today my father has his own house and a good business. My brother is six years younger than me and I see him complaining about what our father has given him. He wants an iPhone, a Macbook, etc. and it pains me how he could blatantly complain about his life. Sometimes I am jealous of him and sometimes I think I was fortunate to go through troubled times that made me the adult I am today.

I can tell people that my father has established his business by never taking a loan despite being from very humble origins. He understood the market and managed according to that. I did not study well in 12th so couldn’t get into a govt college for better higher education. However I never asked my parents to pay hefty donations to get admission into a private extravagant college. However, when I got into a college, I did not repeat the mistake that I did in 12th. I studied hard and now I am earning well. So good education has nothing to do with expensive college.

India mein education bhut mehngi hai, main NIT kurukshetra mein padhta hu mere father ek printing press dukan mein worker hain mahine ki salary 12k hai aur isiliye income certificate 1 lakh se above ka hai , meri ek semester ki fees 35k hai aur mera ghar college se door hai isiliye mujhe hostel lena pada , mess ki fees 35k hai jo ki advance mein hi jma karvani hoti hai aur college ki fees bhi semester shuru hone se pehle jma karvani hoti hai , is terh meri ek semester ka kharcha 70k ho jata hai aur 1 saal mein 2 semester aate hain toh 1 saal ka kharcha 140k rupees ho jata hai baki Copy pen aur rehne mein lagbhag 10 to 12k lag jate hain 1 year mein total milake 150k ke karib kharcha aata hai aur itna toh hmari annual income bhi nhi hai , paisa byaaj per lena padta hai har semester aur ab kafi saalo se college mein placements bhi decrease ho gyi hai ghar walo ki ek hi umeed hai aur vo main hu , mujhe bahut dukh hota hai maine padhai ka rasta kyu apnaya kaash main majduri kar leta . INDIA MEIN GARIBO KO PADHNE KA HAQ NHI HAI😢.

Imagine the GDP if even 50% of the population was able to pay taxes. They buy expensive cars, mobiles etc whereas their salaries are hardly 40-50k.... they can afford a 4lakhs alto but they will buy 12-15lakhs XUV , THAR etc, ...they can actually afford a 20-30k smartphone but they will buy a 70-80k iPHONE...... People pay less attention on savings and more partying and buying new clothes every week to show off on Instagram etc.... Life will definitely get harder this way. Buy what you can actually afford.

There is an entity which is responsible for education/ healthcare and there are people who are tasked with making these things affordable if not free. That entity is the GOVERNMENT. No matter where u live in the world, its important to have financial education. It’s a great information and I think youth should think about their life first rather than buying expensive and living in burden for whole life. Living far from family, I see here most of people (youth )come from India and spend so much and have loans and stuff but hardly think about saving money and if someone try to educate they just ignore the fact. I believe that it should be an important part of education having financial knowledge. I thought about it two years ago when I heard an international student died in accident and how his parents has to financial and emotional problem. It is hard but it also wise to think about future and people you love in case anything happen. After listening I got someone financial education and started saving or have my term plans so in any case something goes wrong and parents do not have face those things even. I feel people have more urges to show off to other people rather than having a simple life.

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has raised the salaries of health workers to 10,000. For them to afford to build a house and purchase a car, the cost of land and cars have to be reduced. They should be able to buy a car with 5 or 6 months pay and build a house with 2 years' pay. The 5-star hotels should be affordable for them atleast for an occasional buffet.
