@@ConcernedCitizenPDX - It's a cycle...Forgot, which pattern it is, but we either exited an El Nina and entered into a La nina (I believe) Apparently these patterns are in charge of all the weather we see. Why sometimes we have more, less rain or hot vs hotter Summers and cooler colder Winters.

@@alexpham3471 - Was a record high before this. Records were made to be broke. Accurate temperature measurements have only been taken in last 85 years. I'm sure higher temps have taken place in the past. Just like the hurricane that tore the Florida keys into smaller islands, i'm sure that hurricane was stronger than anything we've ever seen in relative modern times. Keys was a narrow road all the way to KW, but that Hurricane literally took the ground into the sea. Just sayin'....perspective matters...

Get off youTube and playing video games and you'll discover Summers are Hot! and the upper level winds are ripping the tops out of our seasonal afternoon thunderstorms that normally keep temps down, but we are in a NORMAL CYCLE that happens several times every ten years.
