Very simply because they are good. Jersey Mike's is a chain from the beginning. Capriotti's started as a corner deli and later became a chain 1st expanding via the family into PA and other part of DE.

Capriotti's is here in Chicago. They load them up and the bread is soft. It is a damn good sandwich. Earl of Sandwich is also good and the one at pH is open 24 hours

Great review, guys! There's a Capriotti's near my office in downtown Chicago so I get the Bobbie for lunch once in awhile. I sometimes see Capriotti's in other states also when I'm traveling as there was one in a strip mall near my hotel when I stayed in Kansas City suburbs last week. I've eaten at Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs also and would definitely eat there again. I think I had the Earl's Club.

The sandwich is amazing.. although you can get it from a NY deli, just listed as "Thanksgiving hero" or whatever.. and I know y'all think that's a ton of meat but in NY that is NO meat. When getting capriottis out here, you gotta get double turkey to get what we consider a standard sandwich worth of meat. Overall, bussin..order double turkey, it's like $2.50 more, and makes it's a solid 9/10. 7/10 with standard turkey bc it's delicious, you just want a tad more.

That location used to be open 24 hours, it was great. The cheese steaks are good, the Wagyu not so much. The original at Earl is a great sandwich, and yes it does need more horseradish. The best sandwich shop in Vegas though is TUPS, the #13 is out of this world.

They just opened a Capriottis on the second floor at New York-New York hotel. They are my favorite sandwich shop in Las Vegas. I don’t like Earl of Sandwich at all - every time I’ve tried their food, the bread is too hard. You can get good sandwiches also at Eataly.

There used to be a Capriottis in the College area, SD @ College and ECB. Was replaced by a Cajon shrimp place. 🍤 Not sure why they closed but sandwiches were way better than Jersey Mike's who are no better than Subway. College Subway much better, family owned and it is also on ECB across from the Vons shopping center. When given a choice try and support family run local businesses ☺️
