Maybe because “scientists” discovered that 85% of people are not self aware. This fits in many theories that I have lol Life is like a video game, a movie…be a star, play your role, and ignore the extras. Call them NPCs, call them NTs, outsiders, the general masses. …this is an actual thing. The “worst” part is it may even be your loved ones (if you have any)
