Thanks Chet. Not everyone thinks about those things affecting their investment.

Great points about the market. One thing I've noticed on BAT is usually how cheap cars sell for without a reserve. Those tend to be a better reflection of the current markets selling price on a certain kind of car.

I've always said that if you're in this hobby for the money, you're more of an investor than an enthusiast. I'm not in it for the money, I'm in it for the love.

Agreed Mike. It’s called a hobby for a reason. Because it doesn’t make money. If it makes money, it’s a business. A lot of guys got into the flipping during the peak and it was easy. Just like a lot of people I know who became realtors and they were basically order takers. Times have swiftly changed and the sales don’t come as easy. So a lot of those guys who got into flipping are getting a little dose of how the market shifts. I will say that I have tried to be smart with my purchases in my hobbies. Doesn’t matter who you are, we all want a good deal.

Great video gentleman. When it comes to the modern Mustang market I always use 93 Cobras as the benchmark. I’ve noticed prices on them sliding. Personally I thought they were hyper inflated as they were a semi highly produced collectible. Pre Covid they were $5k+ project cars to be had and mint $30k examples. Post Covid those mint examples became $50k+ cars. I think the market as you pointed out is self correcting on them.

The amount of crappy ads is amazing. People are lazy now and don’t seem to care. My friends and I trade links to ads that are so poorly written and the pictures are so poor. It’s almost laughable these days.

@MWILSON7 I’m going to have to 🤐 As a former broadcast engineer from 25 years ago the modern internet broadcast age has brought about so many failures. Proper English is one in the ads that is awful.
