@@OurPetsHealth hi doc i have a female dog and it's American Bully. My dog had parametria disease but thank goodness we had caught it in time. But on the 3rd day at home of her surgery she had started painting and it's been going on for two days do you have any idea what might be the cause of that. She dose stay in the room but it's not hot or warm. And i do constantly change her water but i have no clue of whats going on. So yea if u have reach this comment plz feel free to write back.

My overweight dog pants at weird times for no reason and I have found that putting a fan that is blowing on her and just helping her relax however I can seems to help the panting stop. Try it out!

My dog has Laryngeal Paralysis and have odd breathing i have taken him of kibble as its not good for dogs and give him grain free dog meat that has human fit meat in it and mix it with brown rice, sweet potato or rolled oat and some veg. Lion mane mushroom can heal the nervous system as Laryngeal Paralysis is neurological. I also give my 12 yr old lab enzymes as they lose this from tap water and cooked meat, raw is a good idea like raw beef mince, liver, heart and chicken feet. I give my dog powder enzymes on his food and leave for 20 mins to help break this down. Giving a dog probiotics is a good idea in a old dog, tap water kills this off so i give my dog bottled spring water. I must say how Moringa is a miracle plant for humans and dogs, it has 17 times more calcium than milk, more iron than spinach and had vit A,C, B6, Magnesium and much more. Moringa can cure up to 800 diseases like Parkinson's and get rid of arthritis pain. My dog only eats this mixed with raw honey as it smells a bit and the honey hides this.

Is ur dog doing any exercise? Puppies have lots of energy. They need to get rid of it by playing . it can also because of stress for changing its home. 🙂Try to get it some toys or puzzles for dogs to work on💖

They can also pant if a bit stressed so it really depends on how he’s behaving, eating and drinking or not otherwise. I hope he settles in well

Hello good buddy 👍 Dr Alex..I'm dealing with this problem with arnold now my vet isn't open today I sent her a text trying to get a hold of her Arnold kept me up all night last night with his heavy panting and breathing he has calmed down with the panting but he is still breathing fast in which he has had that problem for a long time due to him being overweight but I have to try to get help for him today. My dog licks the furniture for no reason, pants when I have the fan on/its not hot, and shakes when its not cold. He also looks behind me or next to me like somebody just called his name, but nobody is in the room with me... when he was a puppy we recued him from a family who used to kick him down stairs and do other harmful things. Could this have lead to the issues; what could I do to help him. We are going to the vet soon, but until then I am not sure what to do... it is kind of weird just letting him just stare at something for no reason like it called his name or licking/panting/shivering for absolutely no reason.

@@georgestacey1400 Turns out, it’s just a dog thing. Also, another way to cool their bodies down. They aren’t overheating or anything, I thought that at first but they’re just cooling off their bodies, they even start to pant when they get excited.

@@georgestacey1400 I have a mix, Siberian Husky and a pit bull. We have noticed she has very VERY back stomach issues with human food. So it seems that Siberian huskys are just very picky about the foot. Just don’t give them human food for a couple weeks and see if it improves, if it continues but has gotten better, then try different kibble.

So sorry to hear another dog had to deal with this, our dogs were stuck home for a bit on their own when the detector starting beeping. They were freaked out when we came home, one doggie hiding in bathtub! Obviously we changed all detectors in house with fresh batteries. Good luck🤞

Also your vet will give you Trazadone for the dogs. It mainly is used from anxiety or trauma, ie: smoke detectors!

If it's something that continues but she is otherwise well then get a check up in a few weeks. If she is otherwise acting strangely, short of breath or not exercising as normal, or unwell then getting her checked sooner would be a good idea

Why the hell did you get a dog if it's not allowed in the house to be part of the family. Dogs love being part of a pack. They don't want to be isolated in the back yard. You do not deserve a dog. I hope anytime something shitty happens to you, you will remember the mistreatment of this dog.

My kinda overweight beagle does that too. She has a tumor or cyst on her thyroid the vet said which we think is what is causing her unexplained panting (mostly at night) to help the panting, I just sit with my dog in front of a fan that’s blowing somewhat cold air (I have heard that helps dogs breathe better) and I also do what I can to relax her and that seems to help the panting stop for the time being at least for my dog. She also licks and bites her paws quite a bit like you said your dog does which can be caused by allergies, or the food they are fed, etc. She also will whine constantly to get my attention and go outside over and over all day and night no matter how many times I let her outside which I’ve heard is somewhat normal in dogs as a habit lol hopefully some of that helps you or at least gives you some peace of mind knowing you aren’t the only one!
