When you apply for an immigration benefit, you typically receive a receipt notice. On the receipt notice, you are assigned a priority date - the date upon which USCIS began processing the case. Hi I hope you doing good, like your video they are very good and informative. What if you received your I-797 approval notice for I-129 with no priority date but the notice have a validity date from 3-8-24 to 7-8-24 what does that means the petition is a US citizen ?? Thanks for the response.

I personally believe that the priority date has become a joke. Our “priority” date is August 19, 2019 meanwhile they are processing May 2020 🙈🙈 and we are still waiting on my husband’s I-130 approval and he’s in the USA 🇺🇸 so not sure what the hold up is. They have confirmed that it’s way beyond the normal processing times though. We have put in 3 expedite requests already and have been told that apparently if we don’t hear back after the third request, that we can then ask to speak to the actual immigration officer directly. Is it possible they lost our case at this point? 🤣 because something isn’t right here
