My main problem when I just installed my first system was not knowing how to set up my gains on the amp. I had a 500 watt amp on 600 watt sub, but sub seemed dead. Once I adjusted my gains properly and set up crossovers, the thing was rocking so much that my eye sight would get blurry. Can’t even imagine what a 3000 watt properly set up system would do...

Haha my first system ever was a rockford p3 on 900w it was a 1k rockford amp and it pounded but I upgrade like 3 weeks later got a way better box another p3 and a jl 1k slash 1v2 shit was banging for a lil beginner.

Tuning by ear without an experienced ear or not using any kinda tuning device could cause it too potentially. There's a good number of people who'll try to tune an amp by themselves and instead of using the gain like a volume knob do the opposite and fail to tune it high enough to match the signal.

i run 3k rms amp single 12" 500w sub at 2ohm with stock electrical, stock alternator is rated 90amp 😂 just upgrade grounding 3point, battery neg to body + body to engine + alternator chassis to battery neg. use 1/0ga ofc. not push to hard, just enjoy my music my song, volume 4/10 pretty nice for me. sometime push volume to 9/10 my voltage drop around 13.2v 13.3v sometime 12.9v. my idle voltage is 14.3v. but doest have any issue, my hid head light not dimming + air cond running good. love my system ☑️

So I have a 10" sub. Same sub I had in my Camry but now I have a Tacoma. He built a custom box so that it would fit behind the seat which is obviously a smaller box than in the Camry. I'm not talking about loudness at all cause it gets very loud. But it doesn't hit anywhere near as low as it did in my Camry. It went lowwww. But now it's only hitting at, like you said, such a small bandwidth. Is there anyway at all possible to get it to get those lower tones? I can't get a different sized box either. It's really depressing cause I waisted so much money to put the same sub I had in my other vehicle and I'm not even getting those low sub/bass tones that really give songs their emotion. Any tips at all for drawing those lows out would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Johnathan, I have your JP23 along with two Sundown audio SA Classic 12's wired to 1 ohm. Very disappointing. Underperforms so much. I replaced my one Alpine 12 inch bass tube and Kenwood KAC-9104D with what I got from you and the increase in power and impressiveness is almost negligible. This is 300rms vs 2000rms. Very disappointing. I still run between 13.5 and 14.4 volts consistently. Any ideas?

FYI if you didn't get your installation done by professional lots of shops offer a wellness checkup which means they'll charge you maybe $100 and look at your system then Run multiple test and find out if you have any issues, also try to sell you stuff . haha

@@THELIFEOFPRICE, can we get a video on multiple ways to hookup a limitless lto battery? Ie, by itself, with an AGM battery and using multiple limitless batteries connected. Also show how to run them straight to the alternator, and when using a regular battery plus an isolator and limitless together. Thanks for what you do.
