I wish smokers paid more attention - I've had parents on my side, and my husband’s side ALL 4 died of lung cancer. My mom complained of back pain for years - wonder how her bones looked, lung cancer got her! Thk you for sharing this important information!😢

Dr Betsy, amazing information about nicotine damaging our spline . I had a brain aneurysm 1 year ago and I smoked cigarettes for 43 years ( also I had a heart attack 20 years ago and a mini stroke this past April ) I quit smoking the day I had my aneurysm and haven’t had any problems staying smoke free for over a year now. My family doctor told me that the human body can recover from many issues if you give yourself a chance to recover, your videos are amazing 😊

Exactly…it affects the whole body. Lungs, heart, skin, blood vessels, etc.

@@paulb4985 than smoking? Nope. They’re bad, yes, but not 100X worse. All of the oxidative stress and DNA mutations cause collagen breakdown and then tears in all of the blood vessels, which leads to tears and formations of plaques and clots all over the body. Carbs can lead to diabetes and glycosylastion of tissues and micro-vessels, but it’s not 100X worse. Look that those leather-skinned, gross smokers-it does much more damage to the tissues you can’t see. I would agree they’re probably worse than nicotine by itself, but not worse than smoking.

Wow! One of my old friends had degenerative disc and she didn’t know where it came from. Knowing her past she used to smoke like a sailor since she was about 14 once she stopped she vaped with and without nicotine to kick the habit then on top of that she was lifting heavy dogs as a groomer so her body never had time to heal in between that. Very interesting insight doctor , thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✨

Can i ask a question I have been begging my spine as well as neurologist. I was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre syndrom after i received my covid vaccine. Apparently the onlt thing they could link it to was how much protein was in my vaccine and it caused a build up. I lost my ability to walk, go to the bathroom,feed myself. I lost my ability in all rounds. I ended up going through treatment, therapy, wheelchair, walker then cane now i run again. What is perplexing me is the fact it that it took so long to diagnose and i laid in a hospital for 6 weeks then a rehab for another 5. Then i was told i DDS and had nerve blockers put in for the last portion of my recovery. Now i am told they are wearing off and my Guillian -Barre might come back. I am terrified. How can i prevent this?

This woman won't want to be cancelled, any honest ones came out almost immediately warning about the dangers of a new novel experimental medical treatment. Look up Dr Kory.
