fun fact! abilities that arent levelled cannot go on cooldown, so u can save ur level up point at lvl 6 for when u need to escape by ulting even immediately after taking dmg :) kinda difficult against DoTs tho so its not a universal get out of jail free card..

NGL, as far as Yone players go (non-pros)....I feel like he was pretty clean in that Game 2, especially early game. Usually when Pekin goes up against Yones even I can see a lot of mechanical mistakes and misjudgments but I feel like he actually did a pretty good job and seemed to have solid control over the champ. It was nice to see Pekin face someone like that.

Yone ult is something like a teleport I think. If you ever play Gwen and there's an enemy Yone. Sometimes Yone's ult will ignore Gwen, even if Yone is inside of the mist created by Gwen's W. It's something like Yone presses R, and when he starts traveling, he disappears until the ult finishes casting. So if there is no champ when casting his ultimate, you could consider the ability as a ranged attack where Yone teleports at the end of it.

Bruh the second game was such a scam. Sett barely not getting the clutch 1v2 outplay, everybody on the enemy team surviving on 1hp, Yone being Yone, that time your q hit a Zyra plant, Mundo becoming bs out of nowhere. With every play in this match it felt like someone at riot was sitting there, watching and actively trying to rob you of a win. And maybe Sett was in on it too with how he almost threw the backdoor at the end, even though he knew exactly what the plan was.

The reason Taliyah isn't played that much is that she's extremely item dependent. If you fall behind in gold, she lacks the effective range to stay relevant. As long as you are consistent with her and only pick her into teams where you know you won't struggle, she's a fine enough pick - but she's a high risk choice to one-trick or even main. She could do with a bit of love ...reduced AP ratios in exchange for better base damage... so that she's not quite such a risk to lock in relative to other mages. Alternatively, she could use something like a 1s knock-back on her ultimate when it makes contact with enemy champions. That would give her that one extra tool to remain useful even when behind. And honestly, I feel like she could be given both of those things and still be a bit lackluster. Maybe shorten her ultimate's base cooldown a bit too? It's a huge part of her identity and she can't make plays very well without it. I can agree that Taliyah is fantastic enough when fed. But almost every mage champion is, unless RIOT really messes them up in any given patch. She's not better than other picks. She can't make more plays, her burst isn't superior. She is, thanks to her passive and her ultimate, more mobile. I do like mobility for sure, being support cat in most of my games these days. (Note: I was a Cho'Gath top main and jungler until Season 9, who also played Kog'Maw ADC quite a lot.) Taliyah is probably my favorite mage to have on my team because of her ultimate, and I always try to make sure my Taliyah players do not fall behind so that I have their mobility to help me rotate and make plays. I often feel like she's just a worse version of Ryze. But at least her plays are different enough that it doesn't matter. Nothing quite like being able to fully wall off a lane or multiple jungle paths - even a full power Anivia can't manage that one.

It does but in my experience, Yone doesn't usually care. Early on he does more than enough damage to you, blocks a portion of the retaliation and then goes back while still winning the trade. Better off trying to land W into E and trying to back off. It does however cripple Yasuo since just laying it across the minions stops him in his tracks.

At first I thought she might be a solid counter to Yone, since she works so well against Yasuo, but in reality if you put E before Yone uses his Q3 he gonna fully dash anyway, land his ability before he get stunned and because he landed Q, you are knocked up the same time he is stunned so there is not much time to make safe distance. Yasuo's dash and dmg/cc are 2 separate abilities, that's why it's different.

Pekin, ILU brother, love your uploads. These Lux ult comparisons are silly though xD There's a reason Taliyah Q is not doing as much as Lux ult does - abilities do not do aggregated damage. When an ability like Taliyah Q hits multiple times, that means it's deducted by MR on each individual hit. So if Taliyah rocks hit 5 times, MR is taking a cut of it five times. Whereas a Lux ult, does one single instance of damage, and is deducted once. I see you do this a lot with multi-hit abilities >.> OTOH, comparing stuff like Veigar W, Shyvana E, and other big single hit impacts is fair game. I just worry about people getting the wrong impression about how the game mechanics work. A lot of people post on your videos saying how much they learn (I personally learn a ton watching them) so there's a risk where the large amounts of good information conflate with inaccurate information.

At 100 MR you double your effective HP (100% increase), so you take 100/(100+100) = 1/2 as much damage. At 50 MR it's 100/(100+50) = 2/3 of the damage. So it's purely a percentage reduction, no flat components like there are in the Souls games for example. Conclusion: Number of hits doesn't matter, only total damage. Taliyah Q does in fact deal more damage than Lux ult if everything hits.
