He has one of the nicest releases I've seen from a big, real clean follow through and footwork.

Shooting arc and form from three is like from a short guard, the defender needs a lot better timing and vertical to block that.

My goodness, he has way better moves than Wiseman.. and this guy went as low as 52 in the draft. The way he plays is not very prone to injuries. I love this pick.

Yup warriors fan sure did i like both the players we got!! This guy can pass shoot and semi protect the rim. But a stretch big with TJD and who can pass out of mid post to cutters. The other kid is a flat out shooter with sneaky athleticism!! Let’s run the youngsters all season including quinones and santos and i think we can surprise some people

Post has the skillset that the Warriors need in their system. He reminds me of Andrew Bogut, a big who can shoot the three, has a decent inside game and a terrific interior defender. It's puzzling how he ended up in the second round. DJ Burns is another player who has outstanding basketball street smarts but went undrafted. I hope these two players get a chance to show what they can do in the NBA.

Wow great analysis. I appreciate hearing both pros and cons, including clips of bad plays. As a warriors fan, we can definitely use a player like him in the big man rotation. I see him as a replacement to Saric, who is way more skilled but often unplayable against real bigs. As long as Post is capable of not getting embarrassed by quality centers, and can consistently hit his 3’s, he should have a spot on the Dubs roster. It’s a shame he won’t get coached by Deke.
@haku48415 ай бұрын
Saric main issue isn’t even him vs bigs it’s just how slow and unathletic he is he’s a huge liability on defense and his 3pter didn’t fall the second half of the season so he was literally useless in all situations not even vs bigs, he was actually worse against guards cause usually he’d have to defend the shooting guard or power forward when they switched

Not many 7-Footers in the WORLD can shoot it like this guy. That's a very uncommon skillset for a legit 7-footer. I genuinely think he'll be drafted, and will carve out a role in the league. He's a pretty decent passer too. If he can emulate a guy like Mike Muscala.... he'll have a long and productive career in the NBA.

I think this is a great pick. Perfect fit for the Warriors. Once Draymond retires, Post at the 5 and TJD at the 4 is gonna be fun to watch. Let’s see if the Warriors are disciplined enough to stick with a 7 footer. I love that the Warriors are selecting older, more experienced players.

Warriors starting lineup: Curry, Kuminga, Post, Wiggins, Melton. Yes, Draymond needs to come off the bench. Trayce and Post can play together at times, but I want to see Post start so we can see what he can do before deciding if Trayce should be the starter. Moody and Podz will get lots of playing time off the bench. Slow mo can clap on the bench.
