I made this video because this has been out for a good bit now and I haven't barely noticed anyone raise any question or concern to it. It's like nobody's even noticed. Do you think it should stay this way?

I think it should be adjusted but not Reverted. I ask myself 2 questions: 1. Is Dracula broken, like moonwalk Legion, forever Freddy, 50min SM 3 gen, or outright nurse levels of gameplay breaking? Imo, No. 2. Is Dracula a top 5 killer, this being around Billy, Blight Nurse levels. Imo, No. I don't believe he should be reverted or nerfed and it is okay to be this strong, though the oppressive nature of his shape-shifting buff may require some adjustment

I think some of the changes should be reverted. I'm okay with the teleport speed buff, but I think the combination of faster normal bat form along with super fast shapeshift cooldown is not healthy. I think they should consider a 4 second cooldown to shapeshift. That's still 1 second faster than pre-patch but still meaningful.

@@kyochan2880 Dracula is a top five killer. He’s the first killer I’m prestige grinding with and I’m telling you when you get good at using bat form you CANNOT lose. He’s just too fast for the survivors to keep up with, instead of pressure being a tug of war it’s an exponential increase. Edit: I will add that he basically power creeps Spirit, as with bat form he does what her power does but available 24/7 and at 115 and two different chase powers. If you’re outclassing one of the best killers in the game you’re doing something

@@akimbocarrots6005AWOO BROTHERRR I will say I think wolf is fine without hugs, just more situational.. but I would not argue with some adjustments, I’ve liked the idea of a longer delay between hits and the ability to do the second hit earlier in the longer window. This would essentially turn the pounce into a Wesker bound with you being able to throw people off with your timings and navigate around tricky map geometry mid pounce. Just a suggestion though

I’ve been saying this for a minute as someone who’s can’t stop playing Dracula, I think pre-buff bat form was fine and way over buffed. Revert the bat buffs but keep the shape shift buffs, as being able to switch so freely is what makes Dracula unique and gratifying. The problem with buffed bat form is it makes the bat *ALWAYS* the best option for any given moment. It has enough speed and abundance of teleports to not only be the best map traversal, not completely deny any distance made in chase, not only ignore pallets and windows, not only allow instant traversal between floors, but completely invalidates Wolf form even more since hugs are removed. I’m confident I could make a build dedicated to using M1 and Bat Form and it wouldn’t even be bad. Dracula is essentially 115 spirit with infinite power usage. Except he comes with two more chase tools on top of the bat itself being good in chase. There’s no way he’s not one of the best killers in the game right now.

Apparently, a 60% kill rate wasn't enough for BHVR on a Spirit/Pyramid Head/Wesker Hybrid killer like Dracula.

Because his previous iteration sucked absolute cock. Shapeshifting is key to his power. Vecna has infinitely longer cooldowns, yet everyone is fine with it because it's easy for Survivors to counter.

everyone was too busy lamenting how Drac was super-mega-bottom tier now because Wolf form lost its hugtech, and they seemingly forgot the fact that bat form now turns you into a heat seeking missile 💀. I still have fun with Drac, but he definitely feels a lil dirty with the buffs-- I see some comments saying either the bat form buffs or the shapeshift cooldown reduction have to get nerfed, and I'd personally prefer if the former got reverted. The short cooldown is really fun to play with, but bat form really didn't need a buff imo

Yeah, I find Dracula to be a bit overtuned and was always mystified by so many calling him a clunky B tier killer. Hellfire alone would be solid anti-loop which feels less reactable than Pyramid Head's M2 even if it's a downgrade in other ways. Add in mobility from bat form, and tracking and anti-loop #2 from his wolf form which is actually pretty decent once you get the hang of it, and you have a high A tier killer who is oppressive and kinda miserable to face. Not to mention, it makes earlier killers like Demo feel dated and power crept.

I agree with this game has some serious power creep like with pyramid head pin head or ghost face. But I find that demo Gorgon is surprisingly still pretty good. Mostly because of his shred ability still being able to destroy pallets faster and damage survivors as well as his teleport. Like the more recent Alien. The problem with the underpowered killers is that the only ability that they have (not a multitool power) isn't strong enough in comparison. Or has some fundamental flaw with the games structure. Pyramid head telegraphing his hits ghost face being red with aura perks. Pinhead being screwed over by chain, environmental collision.

@@JesterOfStory Yep, I mained Demo for a long time and he's still decent but at the same time, I kinda feel like there's less and less reason to play him when Xeno (unreactable M2 which works better at round loops, better mobility), Wesker and now Dracula exist. To be fair, I mostly play Singularity nowadays.

He's fun, but overtuned and bordering on busted. The fact that his bat form is an unlimited Spirit phase walk that lets you fly through windows and over pallets, along with a built-in teleportation ability to travel between floors, is mind boggling. I don't get how they don't see a problem with this. Maybe he'll receive some nerfs in a later patch - specifically the shapeshift cooldown and bat flight speed.

I swear every chapter since Singularity has just been so good and for the majority of them (sadly not Xeno) they’ve just been more well-done and more fun each time imo. Now with all that said, I think Dracula is pretty spot on right now. The one thing about this most recent buff I would change is maybe bringing the cooldown from 2.5s to maybe 3.5 but I’m just some guy on the internet with no idea how much one extra second would change things

I think he’s mostly fine, shapeshift cooldown could be 3 seconds but all of the forms have apparent value now. Travelers Hat, Lapis and Medusa Hair need to get gutted though

Problem seems to be more how fast the bat is. With a 5 second cooldown, you are just on their ass in 5 seconds instead of 2.5 Feels like the speed is the deciding factor, making it feel pseudo Spirit like. Not the cooldown.

It feels completely awful to play against for sure. Vecna is way more fun to play against for a similar design. Teleport to my location with bat form and catch up, switch to wolf form to immediately break the filler pallet I run to, then chase me in bat form to shack. Use hellfire, miss and use it multiple times at shack window. The base buffs and hellfire addons make this killer oppressive as hell.

From my experiences Draculas bat transformation is pretty over tuned, it’s frustrating outplaying a Dracula at a loop and gaining so much distance only for him to just go bat form and shapeshifter on top of your head.

I would say that Nurse is the most OP and then Dracula, he literally has Demo, Spirit and Pyramid head with absolutely no penalty. Hell fire or bat should be removed entirely from his kit, you can't have both in the current state.
