Why is poop brown and smelly?What causes the urine to become yellow?

By Digesting food, the body breaks it into various nutrients and waste products. As the waste material moves through the colon, it gradually forms into feces.
The large intestine contains a diverse community of bacteria that aid in the final stages of digestion. These bacteria break down complex molecules, releasing gases such as Ammonia and methane. These compounds have a strong, unpleasant odor that can intensify the smell of feces.
When the body breakdown proteins, it releases Sulfur compounds like hydrogen sulfide. These byproducts Have a distinct rotten egg smell.
Also, The breakdown of fats can produce short-chain fatty acids. These acids contribute to the pungent smell of feces.
Red blood cells have a lifespan of about 120 days. When red blood cells reach the end of their life, they are broken down in a process called hemolysis. A yellow-orange pigment called Bilirubin is formed as a byproduct of this process.
Bilirubin is then transported to the liver and excreted into the bile. Bile is a digestive fluid produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. Bile plays a crucial role in the digestion and absorption of fats. Bilirubin gives the bile its typical yellowish-green to dark greenish-brown color.
When we eat a meal that contains fats, the gallbladder contracts, releasing the concentrated bile through the bile duct into the duodenum, along with other components of bile; Bilirubin is released into the intestines. As Bilirubin travels through the intestines, it undergoes some chemical changes; Bacteria break down Bilirubin in the intestine, resulting in a brown pigment that gives feces its brown color.
The color of feces can vary depending on the amount of Bilirubin present and how it interacts with other components in the digestive system. Certain foods or medications can affect bile production or how Bilirubin is metabolized, leading to changes in fecal color. For example, consuming large amounts of beets can cause red or pink-colored stool.

I still find it incredibly mad that we just have massive colonies of bacteria in symbiosis with our gut, and they are actually completely essential to our digestive processes. Without them we literally could not survive, and they are completely separate organisms. And the immune system usually knows not to attack them. I have a gut feeling (lol) that many digestive problems are caused by the immune system of the gut getting it wrong and attacking its own cells or the friendly bacteria.

Do y'all have a video on the formation of kidney stones. My kidneys are full of stones and every couple of months one usual breaks loose and causes me a few days of extreme discomfort. My urologist and I have a pretty good relationship, and I know the basics of how they develop, but I'd love to see a full upclose animation on how they develop, why they cause so much pain and different ways they can be removed. My urologists usually has to go in break the stone that's stuck in my ureter down with a little laser and put in a stint, which he let's me remove on my own now, just saves me the hassle of going up to his office.

Main reason they hurt is because they’re calcifications; hard little rocks. Sometimes they’re a bit too large for your ureters to pass them. They rub against the walls of the ureter and urethra which is extremely painful

They didn’t say that gluten in bread or pasta hold the stool together. For example I’m gluten- free. My #2 is fifty cent pellets. Like a rabbit. The only exception is if my food has xyanthia gum which acts like gluten. They add that to like rice flour. I usually avoid that for my personal preference.

As long as it doesn't smell bad and is odorless there's nothing wrong in pellet like poop, it happens to me too sometimes when I'm grazing on bread and vegetables....
