That was so painful!!!! I was fine in the beginning but I screamed when they placed it in. I was traumatized. The pain went away after a couple of seconds, but I kept having cramps here and there, cramps that wouldn't go away with medication. I kept going to the ER for them to check it, and it was in place so they didn't know why I was in so much pain. I got it removed because I couldn't do it anymore. My regular OBGYN removed it, and she was shocked that the other doctor placed it in the first place. My cervix is small and that's why I was having pain. Other options of birth control should've been talked about. I was having issues getting pregnant a year later. I go for an x ray test (another painful experience) and found out that the hormones that were released from the IUD attached itself to my tubes. It was easy, quick and painless to remove, but that explained my irregular cycles, being nauseous, and headaches. I highly recommend to stay away from this. I got the birth control in my arm, never had an issue
