OMG @ 12:10 an old Yokogawa DCS! What a reliable and easy system to work with. Regarding the topic, I don’t care actually...Qatar wanted to politicize a thing which’s not political. Iraq and Iran worked together during the war, SA and Kuwait did the same with Iraq in the 90s, SA and Iran continue to work togather in OPEC+. I’m really surprised that none of the guests mentioned that it’s maybe a gesture to the orange orangutan in the White House that Qataris thought this move will make him happy. It’s just a futile political stunt.

I really don't know I saw we're someone created a machine that allowed people that throw their food scraps Intuit and in just a few days was able to extract natural cooking gas from it. I also saw at a local landfill how they produce and capture. So in the long term I see the price of liquid natural gas going down substantially because of peoples ability to source natural gas locally

Its a win for Iran on this one.... Qatar's whole LNG production is partially shared with Iran. They are two of the top three LNG producers in the world. Focusing means more money going to the technology of extracting gas means more production output of LNGfor the world. That could drive the price of crude oil down further.

I live in Canada and I live off grid with solar and batteries. I am amazed that there is not far more effort in solar energy production in the Middle East. You have way more sun then I do here, and it pays to go solar here. Your potential is massive! It looks to me like Qatar could make a very profitable trade with China to get solar energy in exchange for gas and it could be a win win for Qatar and in the not so long run the trade would start paying very large dividends. I mean it would be a very short time before a large media company would have no more energy bills to pay! How much does AJ pay for their energy use over the course of a year?

Sir every country writes a contract based on where they see the price of oil going. ( futures) these prices are fixed by contract up until 2020. Some countries France pay a bit over $7.00 in US dollars. US pays less than Half that. Perhaps they were expecting war. But the price per barrel contacted is ridiculous considering actual price per barrel. You can go on net and look up the negotiated price your counties " fixed", yes the question is WHY? Lots of fraud and graft. But why harm ones own economy?

Think tank and NGO bureaucrats are in the business of turning simple trade and planning into complex metrics that are only understood by TNCs. They have a vested interest in people not seeing that it is all falling apart at the seams and only know their technical bluff. Faced with so blatant a fallout, that Meyer woman had very few options besides the family analogy. No mention of Turkey and their growing relationship and increased influence. The breaking off of Dimplomatic relations by Gulf States and Egypt all ignored. It's just a family squabble.
