I am planning in 3.5 years once my daughter finish her hight school, this summer I will go to take a look at apartments and check out Universities, I am planning to move to Sact Peterburg; my daughter is fluent in 3 languages. We have already visited Moscow, Sanct Peterbur, Ural mountanes area, next Summer we will check out lake Baikal as well. My daughter who was borned in CA, after visiting and staying for 8 nights in Moscow said that she wants to live in Moscow. They made easy for any foreigner to open bank account and get a phone number with foreing passport without even requiring any translations or notarization. Can you imagine like any Chinese coming with Chinese passport and opening bank account in US? no but in Russia, you can do it with your foreign passport

Well for those that don't know yet? There are already emigrants in Russia from New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, even from Germany and I mean a lots of them. Russia is becoming a dream for many, same as America was once upon a time. Because there's a lots of cheap land space and almost no taxes comparing to the west.

This is a very concerning trend. If you listen to some of the americans already living in Russia, then you can always find them making side comments about regretting that Russia supposedly lacks free speech and all that other supperficial US baloney that is merely a compensation in american society for a lack of true substance. If they want to make Russia their permanent home, then they need to accept what the unifying princples of Russia are - Orthodox Christianity, loyalty to the reflection and implementation of its eternal truths in life and culture, and Russian traditions, concerete substance over form.
