Russia VS Ukraine war latest news is regarding Mariupol reconstruction. Russia Ukraine war today is one of its kind conflict where there are as many similarities between the warring nations as there are major differences. One such city that exhibits these differences is the city of Mariupol. Mariupol is a city in Ukraine. It is also an important port that connects Ukraine to the sea of Azov. Mariupol withstood the Russian assault for 86 days before surrendering. Mariupol surrender meant a lot for the Russian military forces since it was an important stronghold for Ukraine. Ukraine vs Russia conflict has taken many turns but a strange one taken recently is Mariupol Reconstruction.
It has been one year since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia but Russia Ukraine latest news is about Mariupol Reconstruction. Mariupol before and after pictures could’ve scared anybody. But the recent Mariupol rebuild effort by Russia has been changing the picture of Mariupol. Russia Ukraine war today stands at a point where it is important to understand that every step taken by either side has huge implications. In this video, I explained why Russia is rebuilding Mariupol. Ukraine latest news can be confusing since rebuilding efforts in the middle of an ongoing war doesn’t make sense.
Ukraine is an export-driven economy. Ukraine produces 9% of the world’s wheat, 15% of maize, and 44% of sunflower oil. Ukraine supplies most of its food products to Asian countries. The option of transporting products by road is non-existent because of this. Another way is to transport via railways to Poland and Hungary and then from there to other countries. The problem with that is keeping food grains on road for such a long time isn’t possible. Secondly, the train track patterns used in Poland and Hungary are different from the ones used in Ukraine. Ukraine and Mosco use 1535 mm of rail tracks as they both were a part of the erstwhile Soviet Union. While other countries in Europe use 1400mm rail tracks.
Mariupol is the biggest port near the Donbas region of Ukraine. Donbas is a big industrial region.
This makes it clear why the coastline is of extreme importance to the economy of Ukraine. Control of Mariupol will give Russia access to the sea of Azov and Russia will gain control of 80% of the Baltic Sea coastline which is important for international trade. Mariupol annexation helps Russia with a landbridge from Crimea to Russia. Russia is rebuilding Mariupol in an attempt to make it more Russian than Ukrainian. It wants more acceptance and legitimacy for the interim government established. Rebuilding Mariupol will also make it look like the Russian control over Ukrainian territory isn’t enslavement but it’s a pro-people power coming in to do the best for the native population. It's not that difficult to understand. Mariupol is part of Russia and they are rebuilding it, as they will rebuild other parts of the former Ukraine that are now Russian, with the full support of the populations there. Any questions?

The mentioned theater was attacked by the Azov Batallion, a group of Ukrainian neonazis who at that time were all over the city. All to blame the Russians. Ukrainian snippers shot at civilians who tried to abandon the city and used them as shields.

Actually it`s the other way around. Mariupol is a historicaly russian city with russian speaking population and russian heritage. It's ENDING Cultural Cleansing. The illigitimate Poroshenko regime banned Russian language, history and culture, not just from schools media and all professioanl and government administrations. Mariupol has ALWAYS been a culutrally/ethnically RUSSIAN city, Russian is the primary language of 98% of its PRE2014 residents. Now NO languages are banned and Russian is freely taught in schools as it ALWAYS has been.
