I don’t think that comparing Cisco and Nvidia at this point is fair 🤔 Cisco had a valuation over 200 something back in the day, while the sale numbers just didn’t justify it. I guess it would be more fitting to compare Cisco and AMD (declining revenue, loss of market leader position, etc). Nvidia is controlling 80% of the market, made strategic investments and alliances to fuel the demand for its chips, all the while the organic demand is also there due to all the various AI sectors still developing 🤔 Revenue is growing and they got no meaningful debt. Just earlier this year we got AI paintings…now AI can create entire movies depending on your script, too. What’s next year? And the year after? We already have nursing bots in Japan. With the right AI programming…what are the limits? The driving force behind all of mankind’s history was always technology and Nvidia is currently at the forefront of this next big push 🤔

@ I worked for what would turn into the AI model of a mag 7 company in 2020, nothing being done now was not possible then (slightly less glitchy however). Everything you have said about nvidia was also being said about Cisco and the internet in 2000. The valuations were higher yes but I would argue that just has to do with the cash balances on these mega caps books which is being traded in a circle between nvidia for chips right back into the mega caps and then back into chips. Once that narrative falters and the cash stops flowing in a giant circle the valuations will skyrocket and would not be surprised to see 300+. Every thing you said about Cisco is hindsight just like when people talk about jobs in 2007 which had all been revised down after the collapse. In 2007 people were saying fed was cutting to fast and would cause inflation with the jobs market so strong and stocks at highs, sound familiar?

I just hope SMCI doesn't get delisted. Or go bankrupt. Bigger companies have gone down. I hope it's not the case. It was at $24.00 after hours. Seems like a MASSIVE upside opportunity. I almost bought 1000 shares myself. Good luck friend. I am back 100% cash.

Depends on the percentage it has in your portfolio, if it's too much I'd lower my position, but if you hold a lot of other stocks and SMCI is a small part of your portfolio I'd hold, the stock certainly has potetntial

I bought-in at a little over 65$ earlier this year (650$ back then). Was definitly to expensive back then, but I got carried away by the AI hype. Should have sold, when they went over 1k… now I hold because I feel like for me the upside is brighter than the downside

@ even at $1 you can lose 100 percent of your investment….I really have no idea of what the true value is…..maybe $1 maybe $100 the point is it’s high risk
