I remember calling hagerty in 2019 to insure my fd rx7. The guy on the phone said, "sorry sir but we dont consider the rx7 as one of our classics we insure for your agreed value." I responded, "dont worry, you will soon enough." He laughed and said, "we will see." Well 5 years later and this channel has evolved to focusing almost entirely on japanese car culture. Funny how that worked out.

It's amazing how expensive these cars are. When they first came out they were sub $10,000 US. I remember when my aunt got one when she got married, it was all she could talk about it. It was a fun car to drive through.
